Great flavor, and good prices. I liked the fusion of different cuisines, and the menu was good. However, the Korean fried chicken sandwich I had was mostly just fried breading with little chicken. Also, more importantly, they didn't have any napkins. At all. Why would a restaurant not have any napkins? The bathroom was also pretty dirty, so it felt like the place was just not that well managed.

The curry tacos were quite splendid. The service was alright but it took some time to be served. I also ordered a Matcha boba milk tea but they were out of the boba pearls AND the matcha. I was upset but i ordered the mango tea as a replacement and i can proudly say i was pleased with the outcome. (it was a bit sweet though)

My dish was good but my boyfriend got sick from his. Not sure if it’s a common thing to get sick or not he may have got a bad batch.

But my food was done on time when I got there (from the planned pick up time) so that is better than most places.

I've passed this place hundreds of times and never could get myself to try it. I finally submitted and ordered the Gogi Beef Fries with a Machta boba tea. The fries were incredible, I was throughly surprised how tasty they were. The only reason this place doesn't receive a 5 star is because for my second visit I decided to try the burger. I couldn't even finish it due to the quality of the meat. I don't know if it was just a bad day but I'll never get a burger from here. But I will sure be back to try the different variations of fries and maybe the tacos as well.

Umami fries is good, just too sweet for my liking so if you're not a fan of sweet food in general, don't bother wasting your money.

SO GOOD! Hidden gem in Dinkytown. I had the Gogi Beef Fries and tried a bit of my friends Korean Fried Chicken Fries. I loved the egg and kimchi in mine and the crispy chicken in the other. Will be returning to try more!

I got the kimchi burger. It was so messy, but sooooo good! The sauce hits just right! I ended up taking the top bun off and eating it like an open faced burger. The fries dipped in the sauce is divine! The sweet spice bulgogi tacos were heavenly! The reviews are right about this place!!! It's definitely a must hit spot while in the area!
I had a great experience at Umami Fries. Sooooo good and very well priced. Every single thing that I have actually tried has been really delicious. Workers are really helpful and service is really quick. Highly recommended this place any day.

Chicken sandwich was way too sweet not spicy at all. Spicy fries for the side looked pretty but red seasoning had no flavor. Gogi Beef Taco were good, would order again. Pineapple boba tea also good enough for another order in the future.

I ordered Bulgogi Fries, because the past times I've enjoyed it and they sure know how to pack it. It was delicious... for the first couple of bites. Now if you like the grainy feeling in your mouth, then the Bulgogi Fries are meant for you. The beef threw me off, it gave this grainy texture that was overly not pleasant. The other fillings were decent. Eggs were runny just like how it should be. It was overly sweet. After today's experience, I will not crave it anymore. Overall, my experience was meh.
