Classic hole in the wall in NE. Got food pretty quickly as it wasn’t super packed and was pretty happy with what we ordered. Tried the Windy City burger and uncle frankys polish dog and they were both delicious. Honestly I didn’t find the food to be anything special but the atmosphere and prices were excellent. Always happy to support places like this in the area.

Use to be my favorite lunch spot. The quality has really dropped over the last few years. On our last visit the buns were old and the dogs were chewy.
The cost of the food has increased more then inflation so the cost to qualify value has really decreased.
Lastly I was charged 4 dollars to use credit card without being warned they were going to do that.

The best part was the absolute breathtakingly beautiful waitress who took my order and brought me food outside to me.

Love the Chicago Dog! A Mouthful of Chicago zest for under $6 Bucks! and the Fries were Crispy, Crunchy and Delicious! Just the right amount of Sassy Banter from the Staff to remind you of the Chicago Ambiance! ???

Expensive but my meal of the Italian beef and the Italian sausage with grilled onions and sport peppers (both dipped) was one of the best I’ve ever had. Rivals even the best of Chicago! The $27 I paid brings the rating to 4/5.

What a dive find!! Can’t believe I never knew about this place! Chicagoan ran dog and sandwich shop! Great vibe with the roudy servers and cool tv programming playing 80’s baseball games and commercials. Ordered the hot Italian beef with spicy peppers, costs around $15. Sandwiches are huge!! Great giardiniera!!! Will def come back! Root beer of phenomenal
