I'm sad to see this ramen place go downhill and close. It was kind of fun to think of it like a hidden away gem known only to certain communities and regulars. But the grocery store is still open!

UniDeli closed a few years ago. Was replaced by a tea shop called Machi Machi, which has also closed. Grocery store is as excellent as ever.

Man, what happened to this place? When I first moved to the TCs, it was such a great spot - a pan Asian spot inside of a pan Asian grocery store. The quality of the food has noticeably declined as have the staff (young folks that seem so annoyed that they are taking orders and making the food that annoyingly enough, pays their salaries). Queue the “Ok boomer” chorus. There are at least five parties waiting for their food as the cook staff chat it up and are working at a pace I’ve never seen at any restaurant in my long life.Owners: you lose a customer for life with this kind of experience. Hire more carefully.

Love the ramen here!! Highly recommend the Tantanman or Spicy Miso ramen. They offer takeout ramen which is awesome and they do a really excellent job at it. This place is a gem and I hope it stays around for a long time! Only wish they were open later.

Best ramen place, good takoyaki.

I have been coming to unideli for over 3 years and unfortunately I've seen the quality of the ramen drop off a cliff. This used to be a fun date spot for asian snacks and some darn good ramen. Today the tonkotsu ramen I got was extremely disappointing; The noodles were thick and flavorless, the chasu looked like it had no effort put in to it, it was both chewy flavorless and looked as if someone just slapped it into my bowl with no thought.

This place is one of my favorites! Fair rates, large portions and the staff members are constantly very kind.

Wow, I am still upset about our service yesterday. My BF and I went in at 3:25pm and each ordered a bowl of ramen and one of the takoyaki. The takoyaki came out in a reasonable amount of time. (Not fresh like it was before. Seemed frozen and heated). But the two bowls of ramen came out almost 45 minutes later!!! Groups of people came in after us were getting their food but not us. We waited and waited. 35 minutes has passed and we still haven’t received our food. I told my BF to go check and the lady said that their computer “malfunction” and didn’t print our order and that they will make ours right away. Well, other food was coming out and it wasn’t ours. I was so mad and wanted to leave but my BF said to stay. 45 minutes later...Finally the food came out and there was no apology. She just sat the bowels down and left. I was too mad to even eat the food. But ate it anyways cuz we paid for it. I’m pretty sure I’m not coming back.

Unidell is located in the United Noodles grocery store. I suggest you go on a weekday as it is crazy busy on the weekends. They have a variety of ramen dishes. I tried the Spicy Miso Ramen. It was so good! Not the cheapest at $14 but worth the money. Great broth with pork belly, nori, bamboo shoots, soft boiled egg, greens and great noodles. They have a whole selection of other noodle dishes. Not recommended - the beginner's ramen. This is just a bowl of noodles and pretty bland. There is also a variety of small plates and stir fry too. After lunch you can shop at United Noodles grocery store which has a great selection of Asian staples. Also their produce section has prices which cannot be beat.

So this is a spot off the beaten path . In the middle of an industrial district and IN an Asian grocery store. The choices are limited but they are fantastic! You can NEVER go wrong with the Dramen and the tantamtmen is what I usually get which I find amazing! Don't forget to get a side of the BBQ tips to go they are very tasty This place was showcased on dine ins diners and dives a few years ago and I am surprised by some of the negative reviews because the food is great ! The cost is a little higher than I would normally want to pay but I promise you will finish everything g you are served - I always do

I love their tantanmen.

I got the ramen from there once and it kinda tasted like the good ones they have for sale in the store. It doesn't quite tasted like they made the broth from scratch. I think they could try a little harder
