Really disappointed to learn that they are not a locally independently owned coffee shop. They were purchased by Fairwave years ago, keeping their branding, but are no longer keeping the same dollars in the community. Same company that bought spyhouse. Bummer!

My go-to coffee spot in MPLS. Love the light roasts, especially the Colombian.
I'm oh so very pleased with the coffee beans I got from Up Coffee. It's clear the roaster is skilled and has excellent taste. I've been pulling shots that are flavorful and well-balanced. I'll definitely be back.

Not my cup of joe, but the pastries are fun and interesting. The room with the large table had a lot of ants on the floor. In the main area, the only free tables were unstable. I do like buying the beans though and have good results at home.

Exactly what I needed for a chill spot to do some work. Best oat milk chai I've had yet - perfect balance of flavors.

A nice coffee shop and roaster in an industrial area, with a variety of treats (including a V/GF brownie). Espresso was pulled well, a little darker of a roast than my preferences. They have a parking lot or you can find street parking, which was ample on the weekend. Outdoor seating area with a wood fire pit
The baked goods and breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Love the lavender honey latte! Never been disappointed.

I don't want to put any other businesses down so I'll simply state that whether you are ordering in the cafe or brewing at home, this is the best source of coffee / beans that you'll find in the Twin Cities area. My personal favorite beans for espresso are Black Lotus, hugely recommended. I know they promote the heck out of Matador but Black Lotus is where it's at in my opinion. There are so many amazing choices you will never get bored. Prices are also a bargain for the quality you get. I have paid much more for a pound of beans of much lower quality elsewhere so do with that information what you will.

Came here to grab a quiche and was met with a serious attitude. Shorter blonde girl had a terrible demeanor like I had killed her cat. Obviously it's 7 am and you come in for something they make well. But it isn't that good id steer clear of this place. They can't even get a functional business running by 7 am.

If you haven’t been to this coffee shop you’re missing out! Awesome friendly service, house roasted beans that are sustainably and fairly sourced? It’s a must. Their patio is a summer vibe, too!

The barista was so kind and understanding. I am vegan and struggle to say this and order because I feel like a burden but the person that helped us had so much patience. I failed to verbalize what I wanted to them properly and when they saw that they fixed it for me. The misunderstanding was my fault and they fixed in anyway.
Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding. I appreciate you! Oh, and thank you for the coffee!!!!
