“Burnt and overcooked food. I’m not from here, but my first late-night food experience was trash. These hot dogs were clearly on the roller all night, and the onion rings were definitely over-fried in old grease.”

Tried out this place after hockey practice at Augsburg. Definitely recommend! The Frenchie wrap was very flavorful. Will return for sure!

This is one of the most ridiculous restaurants in Minnesota.
I ordered two burgers and waited for a very long time for the order to be ready. After all that waiting, they finally brought my order, but gave it to a customer who had just entered the restaurant, and then asked me to wait another 15 minutes for my order to be made again. This level of stupidity and lack of care for the customer is truly infuriating.

I waited 40 minutes for only two burgers and then they gave my order to another customer and wanted me to wait 15 more minutes for my order.

I was really looking forward to trying this burger spot out for the first time today. After experiencing it I have come to regret giving it a try in first place. Here are my reasons why:
1. No transparency with what is included when you get a burger. They have sign taped at the front that says that you get small fries and can of soda as complimentary for guest. I wasn't aware of this at that moment until I saw someone check his order and tell the cook that they forgot to give him fries. So if you don't personally ask for what is supposed to come complimentary to any burger and wrap like the sign says they don't address it. Until you get your meal and say I never got my complimentary fries or drinks. Then you get this feeling that they are hoping that you don't catch it and play it off like it was just nothing. Terrible business practice.
2.The original skillet burger has went up from $12.50 to $15.50, but if you get pick up through DoorDash or grubhub it is the $12.50. I wonder if they will purposely not include fries and canned drink like their sign says, just to see if they can get away with it for those that are doing pick-ups.
3. The burger wasn't fully cooked and the middle had some tough chunks to bite through. I forced myself to finish it after spending $24 on burger and sweat potatoes fries it only made sense.
Conclusion: I will NEVER come here again or recommend this to anyone I know. I hope they turn things around and do better job if not for customers sake for their own business sake.

New Urban Skillet as the other on Hennepin has closed. Same menu with new items!! Although they can improve the website experience, but looks like it’s going through some improvements. Can’t order directly from the store website like before, so it’s now through Uber Eats

Was really excited to try this place, the food looks amazing, but it was near gross. The service took over 20 minutes to get our food out, and only 1 person was before us. My boyfriend's burger patty and the skillet fries were soggy. My Mac and cheese wrap made me slightly sick and you can't taste any buffalo or house sauce in it because it's baked in so much. The chicken wasn't crispy and overall I had a strange taste so I threw my second half away. 33$ was a waste, disappointed.

Truly not worth the $16 for a burger it really was mid at best and my stomach was super uneasy after. My boyfriend who will eat anything didn’t even finish his food.

Way more expensive than Dave’s hot chicken but nowhere near as good! Paid about $22 for a little burger and bland chips, no drink included or sauces. Travelled a long way to get there and wouldn’t go again.

This place was awful. Food was gross and not worth the super expensive price. They got our order wrong twice as well.

Came here with my wife and 2yo daughter and had a great experience. We ordered the original skillet burger, brisket sandwich, and S’mac chicken fries. Each option was delicious and the best part was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Will definitely come back here in the future.
