Great atmosphere loved that everyone is encouraged to dress up. And that everyone ID is checked at the door. Also loved the decor and the ordering process. However I wish there was more food bang for your buck. I understand you are paying for the experience but dang no way could anyone get full unless they ate before coming here.
Volstead's has been my go-to recommendation for first dates, comedy and live music over the past decade and a half. I was absolutely hooked the first time visiting just by the history and entranceways to the place let alone the amazing cocktails they have. Expect to pay for good quality food and drinks, the food and atmosphere make it all worth it.
A great place, loved the theme. Drinks and food were really good. Music was good too, but the volume was excessive. The place was supposed to be styled after an old-time speakeasy, not a stadium rock concert 3 feet from the speaker towers.
