Not sure where to begin. It was mediocre at best. I got the soul food roll. They reason put some deli sliced turkey in there. I couldn’t believe that. What’s worse was the roll was half full, where is the rest of it? Then they serve it sliced so you are forced to see the big empty pocket of air where food should be? The Mac n cheese was not all that. The yams were alright. This seems like good food if you have the munchies. I’m not enthused! I probably won’t be back! I guess if you want real soul food in Minnesota you need to cook it!!!!! I do like the fact there is no pork at this establishment and the gentleman at the counter was friendly and informative but overall it’s a heck no from me.

This place is located in the deli section of the neighborhood market, don't go looking around the block! Ordered food at the counter and waited for it, service was fine and food was hot- that's the 2 stars. I got two veggie soul rolls, a side of greens, and a side of cornbread. The rolls are huge and nicely filled but there was no salt or seasonings used whatsoever, just really bland and oily. The cornbread was ok but the greens were not; they had a hint of spice but that was all- no other detectible flavors. Obviously others like this place so maybe I got an off plate but it's a one and done for me.

The youth council liked the chicken and waffles, but did complain about the tiny wings. I had the smothered wings and greens. The greens were OK. The wings were very tiny. Nice size portions!

Had their spin on the juicy lucy - although not made the same way it's traditionally made, it was delicious and made with the highest quality. Here, they sandwich layers of cheese between two patties. Had a side of collard greens and fruits. Took it to-go, but it didn't feel like they skimped on quality or presentation.

The fries were seasoned to perfection.

I am very upset that I wasted $30 on this mess! Never again will I order or suggest this place!!!! I ordered the catfish sandwich and the the peach pocket. The fish was burnt but not cooked inside and the peach pocket was something I can't even describe! Save your money for real I really want my $30 back🤬🤬

I'm sorry this review is not meant to be a negative one . Not living in area(40) drive probably has a weight in opinion. Chicken wings horrible old and left out to thawed. looked and texture was not right..over cooked on top of that made them dry and wood like. Seasoning was good(the shorty and wags ) over South side people who know knows. I should had to other reviews on wings.. the nanny soul roll was good but disappointing was that I made it an up size portion which brought it up to 16.00 buck each but really little to no fried chicken pieces. 16.00 dollars should had been a whole chicken breast. Fries not good. Sorry probably won't be revisiting this spot. Dessert was good. 64.70 is want I paid.

Trying this out for the first time Chicken legs were okay. Baked macaroni was not good at all. Tasted like spaghetti. The greens were a little too hot

I went here hoping to get a good Philly Cheese Steak and was disappointed. The Fries had seasoning on them but nothing beats 5 Guys fries or Hooks Lemon Pepper Fries in Brooklyn Center. The people at Wendy's House and Sould need more Soul and make their food better. I won't be going back.
