well I'll just leave my review here since you delete my comments and others who worked for you. like I had said on that comment that they take advantage of their employees and treat them like its one of their Russian sweat shops. around the holidays they would make us stay there all day and refuse to hire us any help when we asked. they had 4 decorators making every decorated cake for ALL of their stores. the day before Christmas eve I was there from 5am and didn't get home till 1130 that night. it was very common for us to be there longer than 8 hours and we were not given an adequate location for employee breaks and meals. I hardly ever got breaks that are required by law. once my paychecks started to bounce I quit but the employees who stayed often waited over a month before getting paid. I found some old cookies from Christmas time. they were around 6 months old up high on a shelf (not frozen) and was going to toss them and was told Eric said to sell them anyways because there was no mold on them. disgusting. People brought back stuff all the time with mold on it. there was no quality control over any products. the bakery was always dirty. the heater would break all the time and they wouldn't fix it. so it would be FREEZING inside and we still had to work. and same for summer it would be so hot our cakes would be melting and they wouldn't fix the ac. they don't care about their employees and they DEFINITELY do not care about their customers. its a miracle they even pass health and safety checks. there's a ton I could say but don't waste your money here. whatever you buy is likely to be old, dry, or moldy. maybe you'll get lucky and it will have just been made. but most stuff is made and frozen for weeks or sits in the case for a long time.
Their Princess Torte was amazing!

Wuollet Bakery has been a go-to for festivities in various families I have know for decades. This December’s birthday treats were no exception.
I showed up for a chocolate with chocolate butter cream frosted cake and left with not only that but some smaller additional sweets of varying flavors as one does.
The folks helping me out were very accommodating and helped me pick out the right flavor combo for my partner KT as she has some opinions on what she wanted =)

Nearly noon on the day before Thanksgiving and there wasn't much left (good for them!) but I still managed to nab 4 of some of the best donuts in the area. I got 2 maple rings and 2 raspberry filled donuts, and they were each flawless. Big, chewy, sweet, and flavorful. Too many donut places these days seem to put all their effort into making their donuts look pretty, but end up making flavorless, unpleasant things they say are donuts. Wuollet is the real deal. Each bite is heaven and it's bittersweet when you reach the last bite. Well done, Wuollet Bakery! I'm a fan. Friendly service, sane prices, and the perfect local bakery atmosphere.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step up into the store, and no ramp that I could see. :(

Nobody picks up call!

I had placed an online order with Wuollet bakery on 6th St. in July, and as I went to pick up my cake, I learned that this location was permanently closed!
It's extremely shameful that I was allowed to even place the order to a closed location at all. With no knowledge that this location was closed, and despite explaining that I was out of town with no means to travel to this location, the manager that I had spoken with relented that I get a cake instead of the refund I had requested multiple times.
Even worse, I had contacted a Wuollet employee on July 22nd to confirm that my order was indeed for September 8th at a 8am-10am pickup, and had taken note of that. To my disappointment, either this employee miscommunicated that to me, or the wrong information was given to this location as they told me multiple times that the order was for the 7th!
After expressing to the manager that I was from out of town with no means to go to the second location, she still relented that I pick it up tomorrow instead of requesting a refund. There was no effort to listen to me about the manner, and it was extremely insulting. I had also expressed to her several times during the call that I would no longer be in Minnesota by tomorrow, and despite that, she still told me that I could pick up a replacement tomorrow. Unless they are able to deliver to Arizona, that doesn't work.
It's such a shame too, I was looking forward to celebrating with one of these cakes, and the quality at Wuollet, from what I remember last year, was extremely good.

I bought a cake from Woullet Bakery in Minnesota for a Sweet 16 birthday party, a very important event in life. To our shock and horror, when we cut into the cake, the entire middle was filled with mold. This was not only a major health hazard, as some of the children had already eaten the cake, but it also completely ruined the celebration. The birthday girl, a teenager, was embarrassed in front of her friends and experienced significant emotional distress on her special day. The mold in the center of the cake suggests it was not fresh and was likely sold past its expiration date. This level of negligence is unacceptable, particularly from a bakery that should prioritize the safety and satisfaction of its customers. I cannot recommend Woullet Bakery. The lack of quality control and the impact it had on our special event was extremely disappointing and distressing. Avoid this place if you care about the quality and safety of your food.

So sad to see this once-great bakery trend downhill. We ordered a 9” round birthday cake, Lady Baltimore, with lemon filling and buttercream frosting. What we received was a marble cake with a thin filling of key lime flavored goo.
My wife also had them decorate with balloons, emphasis on the color blue. The cake was decorated with brown, green, and yellow balloons, no blue.
All cupcakes were in clear plastic boxes and inventory was very low in the display cases.

My husband and I ordered a sheet cake from Wuollet Bakery for our son’s 1st birthday party. It was delicious and the cake design was so cute! Everyone at the party loved the cake. We will definitely go to Wuollet Bakery again!
