I called Woullets in Uptown and ordered a cake. I showed up to pick it up and then I was informed I needed to drive 40 minutes total out of my way to get my cake at Bakers Wife.
Multiple times said “sorry for the confusion”…. There was no confusion, they screwed up and didn’t even say it.
Did nothing to compensate. Horrible customer service and won’t go back to Wouletts…. No surprise they had to close the location near me in Edina.
Update: cake was to be ready at 9am, picked up at noon, served at 7pm and bottom was still frozen.
Looked beautiful on the outside and what wasn’t frozen was good.

This place has a modern vibe, it is a little like a truly European hip coffee house, a bit of France, a bit of Germany, and a whole lot of Delicious!
The delicacies match everyone's taste and preference, from soft like butter croissants with cheese, to a fun rainbow cake, and of course a donuts, pastries, cookies galore.
Outside the building's appearance is humble looking, but once you open the door and step inside, it's like being a kid in a candy store - everything you ever wanted is right there!
And they offer some really good coffee, even the heart-shaped-Italian-style- cafe-latte. Bring the one whom you heart chose, there for a cozy afternoon, and 2 of those coffees along with a piece of cake to share (remember to give her ''the bigger half'' of that slice!), and memories will be made.
At ''Wuollet'' the food is freshly baked, the assortment is grandiose, the taste is amazing, and the people are nice!
Don't miss this sweetest part of the entire city.

I really enjoyed going here. It was my first time visiting here and the staff were wonderful to work with! They made me feel welcome, with saying hello and recommending certain items on the menu. I tried a new drink for the first time and they asked how it was on my way out. It was tasty! 10/10 a great experience and the atmosphere was super chill and calm 😊

I went over a few days while on a trip to Minneapolis for a concert, and I was extremely happy with my choice! I had their London Fog, both iced and hot and both were great! Their almond croissant and bakery items were also excellent. We also had the best service! Definitely would highly recommend to others, and I will be coming back next time in Minneapolis!

So they closed down the Woulette Bakery on Grand Ave. My husband and I had been going there for years. For our special occasions we always ordered the strawberry soufflé cake. My family would come visit and ask for this cake. I would see people travel through the airport with the strawberry soufflé cake. They’re under new management and they don’t sell this amazing cake. So sad and disappointed.

I am so embarrassed to show up with this ugly cake…… I asked for flowers! 🌸 - are you kidding me!!! My granddaughter asked for a Wuollet cake for her 18th birthday - you pay top dollar to get the best….. this is what I got!!! The young man at the counter felt bad but couldn’t do anything to fix it.
This location is part of a chain of bakeries. I didn't think the cupcake I had was very good. I also tried their donuts and latte. All fine. I like the atmosphere in here a bit, just wish things were more well crafted.

It always looks like there’s just been a desperate run on literally everything and so now all they have is this one muffin, and it’s not like the coffee is particularly amazing.
