Young Man helped us celebrate my husband’s birthday with a hibachi dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. The communication leading up to the event was top notch, setup was seamless, and the dinner itself was FUN. Highly recommend!!
Got to experience this food truck at the Arbeiter Brewery! My friend and I had the chicken fried rice, when I tell you it was amazing, it was!! For the price you got a lot of food, a large size fried chicken and about 2 cups of rice! The sauce they drizzled on the chicken was *chef kiss.* We will definitely be back!! 10/10!!
From the food truck, the salmon curry is excellent. Great service too
We tried Young Man today at the Japanese festival in Como Zoo. The line was long but oh my, so worth it. Sweet Moo was delicious, Hawaiian Shrimpy too. Takoyaki maybe needed couple more minutes of frying, but I got it, they were really busy that afternoon.
The food here is incredible and the portions were so big I got three tasty meals out of an entree. The Motherland is the best tempeh has ever tasted. Will be back for sure.
My favorite place to grab some food in Minneapolis. The food is delicious, and the couple that owns it are so nice !
Vegetarian options: Wide variety of great tasting and satisfying vegetarian options that were designed to be vegetarian instead of just removing the meat
Wonderful food!
Delicious! On our first visit, we were originally intending to get dinner at another nearby restaurant—we had never heard of Young Man until we walked past and looked it up online. I was so intrigued by the restaurant’s story that we HAD to eat there. We got the takoyaki, salmon, and nasi goreng—all delightful dishes in perfect quantities that left us in a good mood. We ate in, and the place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall, no-frills, authentic-small-business dining experience. On our subsequent visit we tried the moo (beef) and re-ordered the takoyaki and salmon. This time we ordered to-go, put the food in an insulated bag, got drinks elsewhere, and walked a half-hour home—and the food was still so good! Truly a great spot for any casual meal occasion.
Great food, unique take and something you don't get much in the Twin Cities.

Amazing food, lovely owners. Tasty and fun meals for a good price. The W.T.F. and the Mr.Miyagi we’re delicious. Great fried rice as well.
Vegetarian options: Best fried tofu I’ve had

Anyone can make a good food with enough practice. However making food that makes people happy, not everyone can do it. You guys truly deserve 5 stars with your love, care and passion. Thank you for being who you are and making a great food for us.
My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant. We got brussel sprouts, Mr Krabs musubi, sweet moo and Hawaiian noodles. Everything was good but we particularly enjoyed the brussel sprouts and sweet moo. We really enjoyed the visit to this place and we will be back.
This place is soooo GOOD! Small family owned business, with amazing food! Go and support your local business, and enjoy a great meal!
