Got a lot of bakery items and didnt like a single one.Chocolate chip cookie: Crispy, pretty tastless, can make better at home.White Cup cake with buttercream frosting: frosting was so cold it came off not connected to the cup cake in a lump lol, it tasted good, but the cup cake itself, while not dry in the way something may be stale, was dense I suppose? Not moist, that's for sure. Not sure if maybe the took it out of a fridge or freezer and didn't thaw long enough maybe before putting it out for others to eat. Sometimes that's how it goes with bakeries though cause they are busy, so totally understandable!Peanut butter cookie: crispy, sorta dry, not that flavorful, and I think with these I tend to enjoy them more chewy and soft, so this may be up to preference!Raspberry Kuchen; Danish thing: oddly also not good. Sort of had a pladoh like taste, not salty, but doughy but a strange aftertaste. I actually like danishes better from cub, but that's probably cause I'm silly and unhealthy. It seemed good quality! Just not sugary or good to me at all. The raspberry jelly on it was disappointing and not really sweet? Sorta mediciney taste.Sugar cookie: bad frosting too hard, cookie had a soft bite but just didn't taste good.I guess sorta....everything tasted oddly stale? But I also don't wanna be rude and say that.

I love the Szechuan salmon here, I get it every time with mashed potatoes instead of rice. So savory and flavorful.

I love the food and the atmosphere at Yum! Everything is so delicious. My go-to is the tuna melt. Their homemade potato chips are so addictive. My daughter craves the Mac and cheese. Their nut goodly bar is the stuff of dreams. I did call them this week as I wanted to pick up a dessert for a dinner party where a couple of people keep kosher. None of the desserts are kosher which is a bummer. It hasn't diminished my love for the place but when I googled "kosher desserts" for Minneapolis, yum! came up.

Popped in for some treats to go. The chocolate cake was exactly what I hoped for in texture - dense, fudgy cake with a smooth-as-silk frosting with good chocolate flavor. It was really busy on a Sunday afternoon and so loud inside that I'm not sure I'd want to dine in at a peak time. Still, worked great for a quick to-go order.

YUMMY. Yum is so cute and affordable. But beyond that? The food came out hot, well seasoned, and tasted fresh! Didn't try anything from the bakery this time, but the smell filled the restaurant. Parking was easy on a Sunday afternoon. They have an overflow lot just across the street and lots of street parking.
