We really had a wonderful meal and evening at Zelo. The food was so yummy and Erin, our server, was appropriately attentive and adorable! Our out-of-town visitors (from NYC, no less!) LOVED the restaurant. I'm proud that Zelo is such a lovely place to dine and am grateful that you were able to open after Covid. The only caveat is that it was extremely noisy, difficult for older people to hear eachother AND there was a lively, large group that made it even more difficult. When they left, it was much more comfortable talking to eachother. I don't know what you can do about that, however. Thx for a great evening!

Octopus: Superb. Will order again! Extremely tender. The perfect amount of calabrian chile. Brilliant dish. Mussels: Average-Above average. Cauliflower: Average. Drenched in olive oil. Will not order again. Linguine di Mare: Superb. Incredible richness and balance. Can't wait to order again. Beef Tenderloin crostini: Excellent. A star dish. Tricolore salad: Average. Nothing exciting here. Will not order again. Spicy Crab Spaghetti: Very good. Buccatini: Very good. Mocktails: Excellent. Super tuscan by the glass: Average. Service: Immediately acknowledged on arrival by wait staff. Then some delays to order drinks and dinner (about 20-25 minutes). The staff refilling water and removing plates were perfect. The waiter may have been overextended (always seemed a little behind). Value: Mixed, given the food quality from average to superb. Hopefully our next visit will be outstanding.

Great Italian restaurant with great gluten free options, GF pasta is fresh and made daily. The best fresh GF pasta that I have had in several years. Great service. A must if you are in downtown Minneapolis.

Wouldn't change a thing! Cocktails and wine were excellent; Roasted Cauliflower, Brazilian Salad, Pork Chops and Herb Linguine with Lamb were all fantastic! Our Server, Erika, was delightful and attentive as well as efficient ; ) The busser was also very attentive - we drank a lot of water and we appreciated the changing of the servicewear with the courses. Nice ambience - full of various groups (multigenerational and multicultural) and couples. Really enjoyed our evening!
