My husband and I love the walk-up DQs as they just bring back memories and have character. We learned of the First Day of Spring Free Cone Day. This brought back memories. The hours listed on the on the site said open until 9 pm. I even called during the day asking about the free cone and if we could upgrade to a sundae or something. Nothing was mentioned about the hours. We pulled in at 8:13 pm and lights were being shut off. We were bummed! Very disappointed to desire ice cream, memories and then find out you cannot get them. Other customers were driving in too. The owner did call me yesterday (2 and after) to explain the situation. He said the hours listed were corporate responsibility to change. That he wasn't computer savvy. He explained they only open this day in the Spring. Owning a business is 100% his responsibility. He did not show compassion or concern that we took time to come to his store, that we were looking forward to ice cream and now didn't get any. He left a very negative impression on us. We will not go back. He just bought himself a very expensive negative ad of his store, his character. He didn't apologize, nor try to make the bad experience into a good one. Anyone can own a business. It takes someone special to manage a thriving business that has compassion for the customers. It's what you would expect from a Dairy Queen. Good ice cream, fast service, great to have on a hot summer day. It also has locations to sit outside nearby.

Love this cute little walk up Dairy Queen. Not sure why but feels a bit nostalgic to be able to order from the little window. My mom and I went to use the deal in the app for a blizzard!! Loved my Oreo hot chocolate blizzard!! Fast helpful service!!

We pass another Dairy Queen to come to this one. The service is extremely fast and the workers always have a smile. Only downside is the parking on busy days.

DQ ice milk cones may be good for you but if not they taste like they should be good for most everyone
Ice cream was not really frozen. Not the staffs fault just likely a faulty cooling issue but our blizzard was soup from the moment it came out the window. Good thing they didn't do the upside down test.

This is the only dairy queen location we will be be going to from now on! The lines are long during peak times BUT they are so quick, kind and there is always sufficient of ingredients in the blizzards :)
