Dunn Brothers Coffee

I have visited this Dunn Brothers Coffee location twice and unfortunately had a disappointing interaction both times. On each visit, I dealt with the same staff member while ordering a mocha, and on both instances she appeared to make assumptions rather than listening to what I was trying to do.

I was attempting to redeem promotions through the Dunn Brothers mobile app. The first visit involved the complimentary drink offer for new app users, and the second visit involved the three dollar discount promotion. Instead of addressing those offers, the staff member repeatedly redirected the interaction toward earning loyalty points through receipt scanning, which was not relevant to the promotions I was trying to use.

After I was finally able to state that I wanted to use the three dollar discount, she asked to scan my phone. However, instead of allowing me to present it, she took my phone out of my reach and tapped through the screen herself. This made me very uncomfortable and felt inappropriate.

The manner in which the interaction was handled felt dismissive and condescending, and it created unnecessary confusion. During my first visit, I ended up paying full price despite the promotion being active. During my second visit, the discount was initially dismissed before I had the opportunity to fully explain.

I choose Dunn Brothers Coffee intentionally and appreciate the brand, but these interactions left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. A more attentive, respectful, and professional approach would have meaningfully improved the situation.

Very friendly staff and fast service. Great environment to work or meet someone. They also have a conference room that can be reserved.

I had the ultimate club sandwich and it was delicious. For anyone doing remote work, this is a great place to work at. The Internet is fast and most of the tables have charging outlets.

I’ve visited this location a few times now, as I frequent the float tank across the hall, and have found every visit to be worst than the last.

The service has gotten slower and slower, despite there usually not being many other customers around. The prices also seem to be climbing, and their drinks are at least $1 higher than their competitors same menu items.

Today’s experience was my worst and likely the last for me. First, the girl working was wearing a spaghetti strap tank top. Maybe I’m old school, but that is wildly unacceptable and unprofessional in my opinion. She handed me my drink and went to shut the window when I had to remind her I had a sandwich as well. They clearly overlooked that so I sat there for ten minutes while they made it.

When someone pulled up behind me in line, I also got to sit and watch them make that persons full order (including food) while I still waited for mine.

I stopped by hoping for a convenient and quick coffee and breakfast on my way to my next appointment and instead I overpaid for them to make me late. Cannot recommend.

Stopped in after doing a float massage next door. Great coffee! I also grabbed a sandwich after the float. The bacon, avocado and egg sandwich hit the mark. I would highly recommend a visit to Dunn Bros. It is a very relaxing place, with great food at a reasonable price.

There was only one person working. That suck! However, they do have a meeting room

This is worst experience stop by Minnetonka location Dunn brother! I ordered 2 coffee 1 with light roast coffee and taste worst than gas station and also hot latte is cold too!! They just brew the coffee and pour the milk to my coffee without steam the milk!! What’s a worst Dunn brother! Never been here again! I rather have Starbucks

I usually love Dunn Brothers and its my usual stop-along-the-way place going to work. I recently moved away from my usual locations in Circle Pines/Andover to the southwest metro and was happy to see a Dunn Brothers on my way to work.
I came in and ordered my usual dark roast coffee and avocado toast with a very polite and patient lady. I let her know after she rang me up that I wanted room for cream and that I would want to mix in my sugar first. She said no problem! Before she could pour my coffee, the drive through dinged and she took the order. A man (who I later found out was named John/Jon) walked out and asked if he should grab the light roast. The lady was a bit frazzled taking the drive through order and said, yes please. He poured the light roast, no cream and tried to hand to me. I let him know I had the dark roast and it was with room for cream he argued with me saying it was a light roast and I let him know what I ordered. The lady let him know the light roast was for the drive thru order and I was a dark roast with room. He then tried to ring me up for a dark roast but I told him I paid already. He proceeded to argue with me saying it didnt go through but it did. I told him I wasnt paying twice. He then yelled at the nice lady saying she needs to put room for cream on the order and threw the hot coffee all over the back counter. It wasnt on accident... He was having a full tantrum and going off on this nice lady.
After he poured my coffee, he put barely enough cream in the cup and handed it to me all while still giving the lady a hard time. After he went into the back, I asked her if she was ok. She said it was her first week and I was completely shocked. Here was a very nice, competent, first-time barista getting treated like a dog. I felt so bad, I offered her a position at my employer who was hiring in the area. Sorry Dunn Brothers! You are going to lose a very good employee to a man-child with a bad temper and who is not professional in front of customers nor is respectful to employees. I heard this isnt the first time, but I do plan on returning and confronting him, should he be disrespectful again. Please say something before I need to.

First time trying Dunn Brothers & I am extremely impressed. I was so glad this place had a drive thru, really just adds on to how great they are. Staff was friendly, coffee was quick & tasted amazing. Will absolutely be back.

My drink was really good, but sadly, my cup was mostly iced. By the time I left the parking lot, I was all done.
