We came with friends, which we do periodically. Our server was fine, and our food came correctly. I always order the 1 meat meal, which comes with two chicken breasts. There was very little meat, and part of it is always cut off when I get the meal, so it isn't the full breast. The baked potato was fresh and fluffy.

We had the shrimp special and the shrimp were plump and delicious. Tasty coleslaw, fries, with a moist cornbread muffin, all for $15! Our server was one of the best, very efficient and brought us refills on water without us asking or waiting. We definitely will go again.

They were having a problem with smoke in dining room. Meant they had a door open and temp outside was in the 30's. Not terrible inside, but cool for dinner.

St Louis Ribs were good. Burnt Ends were meh. Worst Brisket I've ever had. Beans were okay. Who puts corn in Mac and Cheese?!?! Cornbread was good. Mashed potatoes were okay. Next time, if someone asks me to go to Famous Dave's, I'll pass.

I was honestly surprised how good this particular Dave’s was! I’ve been to some not so great ones and am hesitant about chain restaurant bbq, but I was pleasantly surprised and would love to go back. I love jalapeño cheddar sausage and it’s so hard to find the southern style kind here in MN, so I was so happy to finally get it here and it was so good! Don’t even get me started on the corn bread, it’s heaven for my tastebuds. I also love what they’ve done with the outside of this Dave’s. It definitely stands out.

This is the Famous Dave's that other locations need to strive to be. I've been a customer here for over 20 years (I'm showing my age, yikes!), and the experience here is consistently excellent. I'm not going to say that every single visit has been perfect every time, but overall this is far and away our favorite location. The "shack" locations where you order at the counter don't even remotely compare to the service and more importantly the food quality that the Minnetonka restaurant delivers.
On our most recent visit the ribs, chopped pork, sausage, and chicken tenders were fantastic. The brisket was a little tough, but still pretty good. The loaded baked potatoes were awesome, and other sides were great as well. We'll definitely be back again.
Parking: A surface parking lot with over 100 spaces surrounds the building on three sides. There is always parking available even when the restaurant is busy.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are a number of ADA parking spaces located near the front door, and the restaurant, including its outdoor patio, is all located at street elevation with no steps.

I haven't eaten here in years, mostly because I have been living out of the area. It still delivers just as good as always. Very happy to find many of my old favorites (Cajun Chicken Sand, and Catfish Fingers) still on the menu and just as good as ever. Can't wait to get more yummy 'que!
