Gold Nugget Tavern & Grille

Excellent food! The taste was outstanding. Presentation was very appealing. The cheese curds are to die for! Ambience is on the sparse side. Feels a little empty. OTOH, it also didn't feel crowded. Noise level was a bit loud, but not overwhelming.

I happen to be driving in the area and was trying to find a place to eat. I saw this little place in the corner and decided to try it. The inside has an old pub style. It seemed very cozy and nice. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice patio area outside. The host in the server were very kind and friendly. I decided to order a club sandwich and was blown away by the size and how fresh and good it was. The fries were delicious nice and crispy. I also ordered a side of ranch for my fries and the ranch tasted amazing .

Upscale sports bar with great drinks, burgers and other sandwiches. Also a limited entree menu with plenty of appetizer options

We had such a great time at the Gold Nugget last night! The service made the whole experience even better. Our server, Sarah, was fantastic. She was so friendly, quick, and attentive. Honestly, it's some of the best service we've ever received there, and she truly made the night extra enjoyable.

Good local restaurant with nice variety of food. Happy hour menu has been changed and we do prefer the old menu better. It would be nice if there were more wine options on the Happy hour menu also.

I had the wings and they were dry....could not eat some. My fellow diners had patty melts which were reported to be fantastic. The French fries and cheesy tots were the best around

Our server was great, but the food was just okay. I enjoyed my poke ahi tuna bowl but my mom's burger was overcooked and the tacos were so-so. It was very noisy and hard to have a good conversation (for 2 elderly women and myself).

Good food, but poor service. While happy hour is a good deal, their normal prices are above average, especially for the service.

It was packed, we were sat immediately, a little understaffed, but our server was exceptional! Order the asada bowl you won't be disappointed!

Today’s experience was… lacking. I ordered the cheeseburger wontons and let me tell you… DO NOT ORDER THEM. They taste nothing like a cheeseburger. They were sad and gross. Basically meat paste with cheese and a weird sauce that was not ketchup or mustard. There were 5 and had about 1 1/4 tbsp of mush. Not worth the money and not worth the calories. I ate them because I was very hungry but would never get these or recommend them to anyone. They do so much so very well… just not this appetizer.

So good I forgot to take a picture before I started eating! Great service, fastest cheese curds have ever hit my table, & a can’t beat “Date Night” deal.

Great food and service! Love the option to build your own burger and all of the options that you have to put on it! Our waitress was amazing very helpful and friendly.

A nice small local bar restaurant with pretty good food, they specialize in burgers. It is smallish so it does get crowded and a bit noisy at times.

This use to be my go to place for burgers. Burgers were flavorless and cooked well done. This is a place that use to make all burgers a true medium to almost medium rare. I asked for medium. My first burger was way overcooked. I sent it back. The second burger barely had any pink in it. It wasn't worth the hassle to send that one back again . It was not crowded at all. I think that they've lost a step. I have not been back for about a year so perhaps this has been going on for a while. As a matter of fact, I would ask my burger to be cooked medium rare knowing most places cook them well done and even the server said they slightly undercook their burger. So a medium is going to be perfect. That used to be the case several years ago but not when I went this last time. Maybe it was off night and off time. I'll try it again, but perhaps they've lost a step from previous years.
