I ordered the vegetarian sandwich, potato salad, and a pasta salad that was listed as a ranch pasta salad, and I should have asked what was in the pasta salad before I ordered it and I just assumed that it did not contain meat in it since it just said ranch pasta salad but when I got home and opened it there was ham in the salad and I don't eat meat so unfortunately it was wasted. The potato salad was a different color than I've seen in potato salads, which made me a little nervous about what it would taste like, but it was very good! The vegetarian sandwich was also very good!

The food is really good. The cashier, was on their phone, did not great me or ask what I wanted to order. I had to ask, are you on your phone, they said they were stretching. They were not, they were bent watching their phone. I finally asked if he was ready to take my order and with some attitude, he said yes. No thank you for the order or the tip. I’m a cashier and this is not what you want at the front of the store.

The sandwiches is very delicious and that is undeniable. We waited for awhile before anyone noticed we were at the counter. The inside is dated and needs a remodel, but I guess that's the charm of the place? I'd eat here again if I was in the area when they are open. The two employees I interacted with did not seem happy to be there or interested in retaining customers.

My husband & I always like to try local sandwich places when we travel & Ham’s was the best! We were impressed by the variety of the menu & I appreciated being able to create my own sandwich. The bread- which makes or breaks a good sandwich - was very fresh & tasty, the meats were incredible and I enjoyed their homemade Rice Krispie as desert. Highly recommend to locals & visitors.

Ham's has great sandwiches, deli sides, and desserts. Try their Cubano, Turkey Club, or Ham Stacker. They also have awesome potato salad and brownies.
Love this place, it's a favorite for my office, we come here all the time. Service is always prompt and friendly, and the food is consistently great.

When I first went to Hams, I had the best sandwich I had ever had, and that quality continued until I went to college (and is probably still continuing). Knowing that I would go to college in Hoboken, I figured I would easily find a joint that had better sandwiches, but there is nothing that even comes close. If you haven't gone to Hams, you are doing yourself a dis-service. I highly recommend going.
