Delicious food and superb service! I have food allergies, and the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.

Ruscello continues to improve and excel. While service could have been a bit speedier, attentive, this was more than made up with the food, and then attentiveness in making sure our meals were perfect. Even changing a part of the menu, providing a gluten-free option on the fly.

It seems odd to us, but Ruccello at Nordstrom (Department Store) has been our go-to restaurant for number of years. It's close, great food, reasonable prices, great service. Unfortunately, the pandemic took a major hit on the place, to the degree hours were cut back to daytime hours only. Food quality, and service went way down. But Jason, new general manager, arrived in-town at the beginning of the summer with high aspirations, calling the place a turnaround. Well yes, and while not quite to the level it was, the food quality is now better than before before, and service is coming up. Ruccello has now become our go-to again. Excellent food, now very creative food ideas, and once again, acting as great hosts.

I like this restaurant and really would like to eat here more often...but I forget it's there! Tucked into a quiet part of the store, Ruscello's food experience is consistently above par. Service has always been very good, too.

Sadly, worst food I've ever had there. 9/10 times I get the salmon Niçoise salad. The salmon was a little over cooked, the greens was mostly escarole, there were hardly any beans and the eggs and potatoes seem like they were cooked a couple of days prior. Also salad was over dressed which is never usually an issue. I think Ruscello got hit during Covid and is struggling to come back to the same pre-pandemic level.

Every time we come to this restaurant they are out of something we order. We were the first ones to be seated and we ordered Monkey Beead and they said they were out of it. The last time we were here we ordered they said it got burned. Another time we ordered a drink with egg whites, a menu item, they said they couldn’t make it because they were out of eggs! We are done trying to patronize this place.

Got one part of order, after asking about second part two times, still did not arrive after 20 to 30 minutes. Ended up finishing the first part, and canceled the rest of the order.

Love popping in here for a quick lunch alone or with friends after shopping. Service is amazing. Food is good and plenty of healthy options. A hidden gem.

Amazing service from both host and server, good atmosphere. They serve you soft bread and a Parmesan/garlic butter to start off. It’s really good.I had a Cesar salad with grilled chicken and it was not good, chicken was tough and flavorless. Salad was dry and (oddly) there were too many croutons. My mouth hurt eating it. 0/10 I do not recommend it.My mom had a cup of tomato basil soup which was really good. One of the best tasting tomato soup I’ve had.

This is a lovely spot for lunch or brunch. My third visit, with a friend who had never been before. He had a salad with crispy chicken, and I had the mushroom ravioli and a side salad, everything was really great. Our server was not super attentive, but the place seemed busy when we were there. It was easy to have a conversation, and we enjoyed the light bright atmosphere.

Parking: It's in a Nordstrom in a shopping mall, so there's plenty of parking for the mall.

Kid-friendliness: It's more of a grownup lunch place. I would imagine kids would enjoy something different.

I have a message out to Nordstrom management. I'll update this review once they respond.

My wife and I are regulars. We love the food, ease and ambiance of this restaurant, despite it being a part of Nordstroms department store. But the restaurant suffered from COVID and has still has not recovered. The main symptom is service. Despite offering competitive wages and benefits, staff turnover has been high except for a few veterans. The service experience is a gamble if you're not served by said veterans. Service is slow and inattentive. Service is lacking. Normal offerings aren't offered - e.g., regular bread service at the beginning of the meal. And normal courtesies aren't extended - e.g., serving the salad before serving the main entree, if both are ordered - both are served at the same time - like a fast food operation. Apparently the new staff isn't trained appropriately for this particular restaurant environment. So while we still love the food, we're now going to request seating with only the veteran serving staff. Otherwise dining here turns into an ordeal.
