They have great food in a comfortable setting. It's my favorite Italian restaurant in the city.
Great evening at Spasso. Wonderful service (thank you Aaron) - made for a great experience. He knew we were there for a social dinner and was able to pace everything perfectly. He was attentive, clearly knew the menu (and presented options), and also allowed us to sit/talk. (Only negative - you were out of Halibut, one of your specials.) Regardless - a 5 of 5 star evening!
Usually have a pretty good experience. Food is always good. This time the service was non-existent.
Steak salad was very minimal and really scrappy cuts of beef on a bed of mostly white romaine lettuce. Certainly not worth the price especially when I had to ask to add ingredients such as onion and tomato. Otherwise it was a nothingburger salad! Music was so annoying. Some sort of 50s style on loop!! The same songs played over and over in the 75 minutes I was there.
Aaron was a wonderful server. I really liked my cheese ravioli but I had a bite of my husband’s lasagna and I wish i ordered it instead.
The space has a large free parking lot that is easily accessible. It took a while to get our entrees but the appetizers and salads came out fast.
I would recommend if you’re looking for great food and great service!

Love Spasso for the lasagna, French fries, pizzas, and a fun approachable happy hour menu. One of our family favorite spots!

Great Food, busy place on a Friday night. It is louder than I like but enjoyable. We watched them make pizzas - I had scallops & mushroom risotto.

Amazing Italian place! I got the cheese ravioli which was great except heads up tomato sauce is not what you think it's a ton of diced tomatoes on top which was not what I expected, still delicious. I didn't eat the tomatoes as I'm not a fan and the waitress took off 20% without me even asking(I wasn't going to anyway) which is so sweet. Others ordered the steak and one order walleye both were to die for. Highly recommend

Spasso has always been a last resort for dining. Unfortunately, they are one of very few places in the area. Their menu is mediocre at best and few things are of quality. They do, however have steak bites that are generally ok. I ordered on their website for delivery and received the wrong order. To which they offered a refund and for me to come pick up my correct order. Unacceptable. So, I took the refund. The order I received had wings, Brussels sprouts, chicken parm and bolognese. I tasted all. I couldn’t even take a second bite. Thrown in the garbage. Bottom line - this place has always only had a couple things that are edible. And their service is poor on a good day.

Consistently a great place for food and friendly service, from pizza, through typical Italian dishes and more sophisticated entrees (the pork chop over polenta is fantastic and one of the best I've had). Great beers on tap, cocktails, and a wide variety of wine available without the painful and typical restaurant markup. Wonderful for locals and visitors alike, and super kid-friendly

We love Spasso! The food is consistently good. We have had several dishes and loved every one of them. We bring our 4 kids and they all love it every time!

I came in for dinner, the service was excellent and so was the food. I had the tomahawk pork chop along with a boulevardier for a cocktail. Everything was great!

My family and I dined here on Saturday night after a long day at the Renaissance Festival. We truly enjoyed all of our meals but the steak fondue is to DIE for! At the end of our meal we were shocked to be informed that someone had generously paid for our tab. As a family group of 5, just visiting for the weekend we can't thank the anonymous person enough. Little did anyone know that we just lost my mother and this was probably the last time my father will be making the trip with us. Thanks again for an amazing dinner and the kindness of a stranger ?
