Very disappointed. First, a cool fall day and it seemed like the AC was on full blast. We were freezing. Ordered the buratone for an appetizer, one slice of cold bread, hard to share, was not even crisp. My wife had the lasagna, barely warm. Would have sent it back but we were so cold we wanted to get out of there. One positive I had the bolognese which was very good. I booked through Open Table, and even though we checked in and made sure they had my name, the restaurant marked us a no show. Luckily customer service at Open Table was able to fix it.

Food was phenomenal. Service was slow and server never checked on us at any time during meal service except the end to bring boxes and get bill. Place was busy but there is no excuse for inattentive staff. There appeared to be a good number of staff but not sure if they were all functioning as a group. It was a Saturday night (6 o'clock hour) but noise level was louder than expected. Restaurant needs maintenance: burnt out lights that should be replaced, dust in all exposed duct work and decor, seat at our booth was ripped, etc. Some of staff is either new or inexperienced as they seemed unsure what to do. There was no visible manager presence to lead the staff. One staff member felt the need to brush up against my spouse as I waited at hostess stand to be seated. Completely unnecessary and uncalled for. Again the food quality, taste and presentation were amazing. The size of the portions was also much larger than expected. I would order take out from there again just for food but I don't know if I'd ever dine in again.

What we like to do is order three or more appetizers, drink wine, and share it with our friends, and then order a couple entrées and share those also.

We had a wonderful evening! There is a group of us that worked together 18 years ago, for the past four years, we get together once a year, and it is always at Spasso, and we always have the best time! Thank you so much!

The lasagna was a little salty and the portion size was small for $24. Chocolate cake was not really a chocolate cake, but a brownie with ice cream on it. I guess it was an OK substitution, but would have liked it better if that was explained before serving it. I might have picked a different dessert.

Shrimp scampi broth/sauce was so delicious. Server appeared to be swamped but was attentive. Wine is a good pour and Chianti is yummy. Pricing has stayed moderate and a good meal in the $20-$25 range.

Not my best experience today. Waiter wss bland and beer salad just sliced beets with a hunk of lettuce on top. Very mediocre.

Two of us had lunch on a very quiet summer day there. Both enjoyed Cobb salad. Was good opportunity to see an old acquaintance and we were able to sit and talk for a very long time. Food is usually good and I love the polenta fries. They offer a good mix of appetizers, salads, entrees and pizza. I've always had good service and location is convenient for me.

We did not enjoy the pizza at all. It was very bland with no spices on it at all.. we've always had good service at Spazio's but this time our server took our drink order and completely forgot to bring my wife's drink until we were finished with our pizza and I had to say something. While the server did not charge us for her drink, the server didn't even come to see if our pizza tasted OK a big disappointment.

Susan was our server and was excellent as always. The food is consistently good. My husband's favorite is spaghetti w/meatball but I enjoy the risotto, tomato basil soup, chicken parm etc. Highly recommend you try them if you haven't already.

Spasso is consistently great. A spot to hit any night of the week with a variety of casual to high-end meal choices. Prices are so reasonable in comparison to other Italian/American restaurants on the west side of the metro. From pizza to pasta to steaks. Last night we had a fabulous server, Kaya, who was knowledgeable, professional, and yet a great sense of humor. We will ask to serve us if she is working on our next visit.

Too loud ! You need some nice rugs in your place to help with loudness. My Caesar salad was ordinary. Service was great. You are fortunate to have the employees you have!

Loved it!! Will definitely be back! Great value and you can pickup a bottle of wine next door with no corkage fee.

Love the walleye and the chicken risotto. It is a bit noisy but the food and service is worth it.
