Been a while since last visit. New place, Sat at the bar, bartenders were real friendly, quickly served after I sat down. Hard to decide. Place smelled like a BBQ joint... mouth was watering and really hungry. Finally decided on ribeye. Cooked jist right, rather large not too fatty, and monster size sweet potato with honey butter. Both were excellent. Tried all 3 BBQ sauce, MN is a little sweet, buddy's was tangy not too hot, ghost made me scared... turned out very good....
The service and vibe were very welcoming. I tried the burnt ends to start, very tasty. The beef ribs were huge and pilled high. The jambalaya and jalapeno cheddar sausage were great. Everyone in the place was happy to be there.
This is a great little find in the country. Stopped quick passing through and grabbed a salad, chili and Mac and cheese. It was good food and I saw others with the blt and brisket and pan to go back to try more. They were setting up for love music on their outdoor stage and the atmosphere of what appears to be an old gas station is really cute. More upscale inside. Give this gem a try!
