“Lovely remodel of an old Ember's restaurant. Food was great. Breakfast/brunch is Diner food with your choice of smoked meats or vegetables, with a Mexican twist if desired. Some sandwiches are available if you're in the mood for lunch. Service staff was friendly and inviting.”

“This was our first time trying the Deli. The burger was good, however it was just a burger, no fries or chips with it. The gyro was metocre, with very little tzatziki which is the best part about a gyro. We got our food “for here”, got no plate for the gyro wrapped in foil, no napkins and the burger came on a tiny dessert plate. For almost $33 with a tea and a coke, unfortunately not really worth it.”

“I wish this place had been open when I was a college student living in St. Boni. There is so much room upstairs for studying or hanging out with friends! It reminded me of pubs I've been to in Ireland, located in really old buildings, where one room leads to another and then another, and you're like, "where does it end?" It was really cool, so 5 stars for atmosphere. The coffee was pretty good. My only complaint would be the food. I actually laughed when my half grilled cheese panini arrived at the table. It was so small and had zero presentation. And what was the cheese? Something processed? I don't even know. But for almost six bucks I expected a little more...something. Glad I got the half and not the whole. My friend got a breakfast sandwich and it was the same...small and not that appetizing, and I think it cost even more than mine. For 2 small sandwiches and 2 specialty coffees we paid $25. A little steep for what we got. But this place has potential!! Maybe just add a little something on the side of those sandwiches (cole slaw? A kale leaf?) or use thinner bread for the panini and make them bigger? Waconia really needs this place. (I still can't accept the fact that Frost and Steam is gone.) The students at Crown need a place like this to hang out. The menu just needs a little tweaking.”

“I stumbled across this wonderful restaurant yesterday and was amazed to see that a vitalist-themed restaurant had found its way to Minnesota. We stopped by for a light lunch today - the Japanese bowl, Aloe Detox drink, and an espresso. The bowl was super fresh with perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of black rice, with avocado, seaweed, vegetables, and condiments. It tasted amazing and we honestly felt revitalized for the experience. The Aloe drink was great and the espresso was really well done - not too bitter and a nice crema on the top. We're looking forward to going back and sampling our way through the menu. Nice location too - across the street from a lake and next door to a high-end looking art gallery. We sat outside and watched the world go past as we enjoyed the wonderful food. Our waiter was warm and helpful too!. Oh and everything is gluten-free and organic too!”

“I walked over to The King’s House for lunch while getting my motorcycle tuned up at Davis Motorsports just down the street. I got one of their specials, the taco salad with chicken. It was among the best taco salads I’ve had. I especially enjoyed the burst of flavor from the fresh cherry tomatoes generously embedded in the salad. The shell is clearly home made, as is the unique sauce. The seasoning and herbs on the chicken were also perfect. Everything was very fresh. The presentation was excellent. Their ice tea is clearly brewed fresh too. I went ahead and had a mojito for desert and found it well crafted and refreshing on a July afternoon.
My server was professional and personable.
The place wasn’t very busy at lunch time. But I got the impression their busy time is evenings. Tables are nicely spaced. They have outdoor dining. Ample free parking in their dedicated lot. I enjoyed their playlist as I ate - a diverse mix of mostly alternative soft rock. I was pleased that they didn’t have any distracting TVs in the restaurant.
Everything is accessible to wheelchairs.
Kid-friendliness: Wooden tables and chairs, concrete floor - nothing fancy about the space - but everything is clean and comfortable. It would be an welcoming place to bring the whole family.
Wheelchair accessibility: Everything, including the outdoor eating area, is on street level. No stairs.”

“We rarely eat fast food or subs but we needed to grab something quick as tge place we were headed didn't have food. We ordered a hot chicken Philly sub. It seemed to take a long while I think we had to wait 10-15 minutes to get our sandwich. It was so good. I mean really, really good. I can't imagine going to a different sub shop because this one was hot and gooey with cheese it tasted like it came from a sit down restaurant.”

“Tried it for the first time today and this coffee is worth the hype. I tried a blended Nutty Zebra with soy milk and it's so decadent! I love that they have non dairy options and coffee alternatives. Something for everyone. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu. Everything looks delicious. The staff is friendly and the coffee came quickly! Kinda weird that it's in a bank but at least there's indoor seating lol”

“I figured it would take 10 more years of social progress before we saw a restaurant with the culinary artistry and European panache of Bode Gray’s in Waconia. Nestled in a town known for its conservative charm but largely uninspired franchise-laden gastronomic landscape, Bode Gray’s stands as a beacon of epicurean brilliance. Upon entering this culinary sanctum, one is immediately enveloped in an ambiance that whispers sophistication. The decor, a harmonious blend of modern minimalism and classic European elegance, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is nothing short of a magnum opus. Each dish is a testament to the chef’s virtuosity, a symphony of flavors that dance upon the palate with an almost transcendental finesse. From the Roasted Duck that tantalizes the taste buds with a promise of the delights to come, to the pièce de résistance that leaves one in a state of gastronomic rapture, every bite is an odyssey of taste. The culinary offerings are an eclectic mix of traditional European techniques and avant-garde innovation, resulting in a tapestry of flavors that is as complex as it is sublime. The Tortellini alla Casper, for instance, is a masterclass in rustic refinement, its velvety sauce and tender meat a homage to the culinary traditions of Burgundy. The Roasted Squash Risotto, a creamy dream infused with the earthy essence of pepitas could easily hold its own against the finest trattorias of Milan. What truly sets Bode Gray’s apart, however, is its astonishing affordability. In a metropolitan setting, one would expect to pay a princely sum for such gastronomic grandeur, yet here, in the heart of Waconia, one can indulge in a feast fit for royalty at a fraction of the cost. It is, quite simply, a revelation. The only place serving better cocktails than the restaurant itself are made manifest by the enlightened mixologists through the rear entrance of The Brass Hat, an attached Speakeasy that transcends you into the era of prohibition characterized by the same heroic opposition that envisioned Bode Gray’s arrival in a town never before acquainted with the culinary divine. Here, the cocktails are not mere drinks but exquisite libations meticulously concocted with an almost alchemical precision, each sip a journey through the esoteric and the divine. In summation, Bode Gray’s is not merely a restaurant; it is a culinary pilgrimage, a testament to what is possible when culinary passion meets artistic ingenuity. To dine here is to experience the zenith of gastronomic delight, and for this, we owe a debt of gratitude to the culinary visionaries behind this extraordinary establishment.”

“I love having this addition to the neighborhood! It is so easy to place my order on the app and just drive up and pick up my order. While I'm there I often stop and get a couple of groceries as well. Clean, friendly, not overly crowded, and lots of seating in the upper level.
Parking: I have been there several times in the morning and have never had a problem finding plenty of parking.”
