“We have been eating here for 40 years. It's a quaint, little place just down the road from us and 1/2 block from the Luce Line Trail. All kinds of yummy burgers to choose from!Parking: Plenty of parking!”

“Timing for online orders are spot on/perfect timing! Pizza is always hot. Their sauce is great! The crust isn’t too sugary- hand tossed is the perfect thickness. We always build our own. Friendly/helpful staff upon walking in. Boneless wings with the sauces (house MN nice) fabulous! The wife has had the bbq out of the trailer set up for lunches and reported really good stuff comes out of there- Sammie’s and whatnot. Some odd times during the week but these are odd times.Parking: Well lit. Plenty of options as it’s a mall”

“Stopped here on the way back to Twin Cities for lunch....The bartender and cook were super friendly and food and service was fantastic!!! Burgers were excellent...wish it were closer...next time im out that way, I'll be stopping there for sure!!!”

“One of the best Mexican restaurants that I have been to! The options are very authentic but they have something for everybody. Carlos and his family run an amazing business, everybody is so friendly and very welcoming. The menu has a ton of options and they are all so good, I can’t wait to go back and try more! The birria tacos along with their steak and al pastor were all delicious, and we got tres leches which is homemade and the best I’ve ever had. Muy bien ??”

“I was hungry and they fed me, it was cold outside and they sheltered me, the small pepperoni and green olive pizza left my hands greasy and their bathroom's soap dispenser cleansed me. Tasty food at a reasonable price with cheery staff. Recommended.”

“This is a great little spot for breakfast. It’s a quaint little spot which is completely unassuming from the outside. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with hash browns. The hollandaise sauce was fresh and delicious. The eggs were poached perfectly. My only small complaint was I asked for well done hash browns and the weren’t. No problem because they were still great. My friend had the French toast with their homemade sausage. He gave me a taste of the sausage and it’s really delicious. It has a very distinctive flavor with a nice spicy flavor. He thoroughly enjoyed his French toast. Overall a great meal and a wonderful experience. I would highly recommended this place.”

“A simple diner that whips out simple dishes that leave you nothing to complain about and also satisfied. This is the place you go and enjoy when your bougiemeter needs a reset or oi yourself, like myself need a reality check from the bougieness of the cities.Guillermo (pictured) and Geronimo, two brothers run this shop and hence the name. “We just had dinner here tonight for a friend's birthday! Great rolls, great service! Feel the pricing is a bit high, but then again when is quality sushi cheap?! Overall happy with the meal. Do wish we had some better recommendations on the sparking sake and the edamame had so much salt on it, which was strange. Would recommend for a nice sushi meal West of Minneapolis, in a cute town - Excelsior. A lot of nice shops and other restaurants in the area!”

“We were there on a Sunday night in early March 2024. Pretty quiet, just what we wanted for our anniversary. New York strip was one of the best steaks I've had along with the garlic mashed potatoes.My wife had the broiled walleye and was very pleased with it.Our server, Lydia, was awesome, took very good care of us!”

“Great brewery set up right on Lake Minnetonka. They have a good selection of IPA and 8 other beers of varying style. The taproom is cozy and situated quasi-restaurant style. Staff was prompt and friendly on my visit. There was also a Voyageur Sauna onsite during my visit. Matt the Sauana Steward was simply amazing. Knowledgeable about temperature therapy, and beer, snd engaging. I for sure want to check them out in the spring/summer to watch the boats pull up. And also want to come and watch a Vikings game on their outdoor screen on the patio.”

“Such an amazing place! Their breads, pastries and sandwiches are amazing! Highly recommend their soup as well for a cold winter day! I have not had any of the coffee before but if you are looking for a great sandwich for lunch highly recommend this place! Everyone here are so kind and patient. It is a smaller place so be aware that it can get busy during peak hours but plenty of places to sit!”

“Took my family for a special dinner. Service was exceptional, Jen was attentive but didn't hover. The cocktails and food were delicious, we really enjoyed the fried clams and sticky ribs appetizers. Meal portions were excellent. We especially enjoyed the banoffee pie, which is hard to find outside of the UK. I would highly recommend, and the view of the lake is lovely as well. We will definitely be back!”

“Nice restaurant with a cozy vibe. Went for Valentine’s Day and got a reservation a week prior with no problem. Food was good but came out warm vs fresh/hot. Not sure if that was because it was a busy night but was expecting more for the pre we paid. Would give them another shot in the future on a less busy night.”

“After so often hearing from friends about Surfside, & perusing their menu online, we finally gave Surfside a shot. What a wonderful experience. It was 5ish & the place was packed with Families & Baby Boomers, now we know why, the prices were more than fair, & the menu was extensive, so much so that choosing was an adventure. The Waitress was helpful & playful, which was great for unstressing us because our car broke upon entering the parking lot, & we were a little stressed...I , as a Vegetarian, chose the Beet Salad, & my Boo chose a Half Order of Ribs which came with Fries, a small loaf of Cornbread, & Coleslaw. If that's a half order, which was huge, I can't imagine how big the full order must be. The Ribs are made in a smoker out back, & my Boo said they're the best he's ever had & even comparing to Ribs he's had in both the West & South that are renowned for their Ribs. Here the best part: The Owner of Surfside likes to go table to table talking to his Patrons, insuring a positive experience is had by all. We had a conversation about how our Car broke entering the lot. Long story short, he overheard us calling an Uber, & offered us a ride home! We accepted a ride home from a friendly Proprietor who gives Customer Service a whole new spin. Needless to say, we have a new favorite Eatery”

“We had a delicious meal - a salad with apples, chicken, bacon etc. Chicken was nicely cooked. Salad was beautifully plated and the ingredients were very well balanced. My husband had a steak sandwich and fries from the specials menus, which he said was also great. We "shared" a coffee creme brulee for dessert which was amazing.”

We noticed that they are many location of this Coffee franchise in the local area, so we wanted to see what everyone is raving about.Upon entering the Coffee shop, I was quickly greeted by a friendly staff. The menu offers many options for everyone, but we just ordered two speciality coffees. The coffees we had were very favorable, and not to strong. We truly enjoyed everything we ordered, and I'm sure that we will return for another visit soon.”
