Applebees is pretty consistent across locations which is good being a chain store. We had quick service. Waiter was attentive. If get there during Happy Hour can be a good deal and get in and out rather fast. Nice atmosphere during March Madness as many TVs to watch the games were on.
Kid-friendliness: Have a good kid menu with options for main course and side for almost every kid. Cost friendly for kids menu also.

We had a party of three and we just all happen to order the same thing bacon cheeseburger, best burger ever we all enjoyed it thoroughly and the french fries were also very good. Emma, our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Applebee's cooks, You gotta do better .. in this day and age where people are trying to eat healthier .. salt isn't included in healthy. I ordered the chicken breast w/ broccoli, potatoes. The broccoli was SO salty I couldn't eat it. I also ordered the chips and spinach/artichoke dip .. both were not great 🥴 Really disappointed

I haven't been to an Applebee's in years but the food tasted exactly the same. I would say the sides leave something to be desired. Definitely feels a little outdated.
Stopped in yesterday around 4pm. This is now the SECOND time in a row that we walked out. We are NOT returning until we hear of a turnover in staff!
You can literally feel the tension and bad atmosphere as soon as you step foot in there😳
Both times, NO ONE greeted us, even though they made eye contact with us! We were completely ignored. They are clearly understaffed, and the staff that they DO have are crabby and rude!!!
The big female bartender clearly hates her job, and takes it out on the customers. We sat up at the bar top both times, and couldn't even get service. When she finally came over to the bar, she bitterly muttered to us that she 'has to make some drinks first before she gets to us'. Her nasty, low tone of voice and scowl on her face was SO RUDE that we got up and walked out!
It is understandable that service can be slow when there isn't enough help, but DON'T BE RUDE TO YOUR PATRONS!!! It is not our fault that you are understaffed!
Fyi: An acknowledgment and a smile can go a long way!
If you want friendly service from a nearby dining establishment, check out Trails in Big Lake or Rancho Grande in Monti. Applebees staff: visit one of these restaurants so you can learn what customer service means, and hopefully you will start implementing it at your own restaurant. You are failing!!
