Route 61 Lounge and Bowling

Small town bowling alley. Had the pizza, I'm not a fan but if you like a thick crust and thick layer of cheese then this is your place. Like the ambiance of the lanes.

We've been there several times and enjoyed it. Our last visit was definitely our last, char burnt steak, cold soup, brown lettuce, the toast on my club sandwich wasn't even toast.

I think that they could’ve used one more server on the floor. The lady who is there and did the best she could. The food was delicious and was just as ordered.

Really could do some cleaning here. Carpet is disgusting. Use to be light gray now its black and shoes stick to it, bathrooms could use some cleaning, salad bar was disgusting. Glass doors going in the place had fingerprints all over the glass.
Its been year since we were last here and still dirty a place. And service is slow.
Our dinner came in carboard container something you see at concession stand like a corndog stand container with tin foil rap inside it. I guess they no longer have real plates to eat from.
It's too bad this place has really gone downhill, years ago this was great place to eat and was kept up and clean.

Stopped by here the last couple Mondays for their 7 dollar burger AND fries special. PHENOMENAL burgers, top notch! Fries are fabulous as well! Only way to top that would be cheap drinks, right? Say less! Drinks are half price ALL DAY on Mondays! You can bet that they'll see us there most Mondays until this summer special ends!

We used to LOVE this place back when it was Gamper's. Sadly, the quality has slipped a bit in the past couple of years. The quality of the food has become much more inconsistent. Last time our food was great, but we've been there a few times where we've encountered issues like our fried fish being super dry, steak being badly undercooked (blue/rare when we ordered medium), and our kid was given spoiled milk to drink on one occasion. There seems to be less attention to quality of ingredients than there was in the past. Also sad they got rid of their waffle fries, which used to be one of the menu highlights. Their fries now are just OK. Service has gotten to be a bit more hit or miss as well. One time we had to wait more than 20 mins for our check despite a mostly empty dining room. Their tap list is also a bit limited, which used to be expected for the area, but other local restaurants are quickly gaining the upper hand in this area. The salad bar is still great though and the burgers are still good quality. Not ready to give up on this place just yet, but overall disappointed in the direction it's been going.

Also, we love sitting out on the patio when the weather is nice (it's dog friendly as well!), but our experience is often ruined by the fact that smoking is allowed so close to the entrance (which often makes it impossible to even get in the building without going through a cloud of smoke, which may not bother everyone, but can be a big deal for those with asthma, little kids, etc).

Had a great experience. Our server Kayla was very attentive and sweet. The food was delicious and the salad bar is always a good addition. Will definitely be back!
