Al & Alma's Supper Club and Charter Cruises

Had a lovely day yesterday with a group of friends on our brunch cruise. The staff is amazing and very professional. The food was great and plentiful. Our server Christine was on point and a sweetheart. Very relaxing day on the lake.

I had the best experience photographing a wedding on one of Al & Alma’s Lake Minnetonka cruises this past weekend! The staff was absolutely incredible! So hardworking, kind, and on top of every detail. Captain Tom especially stood out. So friendly, professional, and clearly skilled at what he does. The whole team made the evening run so smoothly and created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Couldn’t recommend them more!

6 of us took a dinner cruise on Aug 25. Our guests from TX were among the last to be released to the serving line and by that time there was no more silverware. They had to use plastic. Ever tried eating chicken, ribs and salads with plastic utensils? The staff knows how many passengers paid approx. $60 fee for dinner and cruise, so it’s hard to understand how you run out of silverware. I wrote a letter to report this out of frustration and received a $30 gift card, which I found to be weak given that it only covers half of one person, should we return. I won't be using it. That said, the food was very good and if you like looking at multi-million-dollar homes on the lake from a distance, it is a way to do that. To each their own but I don't recommend. The 2 stars is for the food.

Amazing experience

We had an afternoon lunch cruise on the Avanti as a department team-building event, and loved it. Bruce piloted and did a great job of giving us space to socialize, but also pointing out areas of interest. Abbey handled food and drinks, and was amazing - seemingly everywhere at once - with top-notch customer service. I wouldn't be surprised if she's actually twins, she did so much. All in all, well worth the time and cost. We will be returning.

We had a wonderful dinner cruise for Grams 90th! Captain Jim and first mate Naomi were awesome!

Captain James was great and the bartender Nancy did an amazing job! Highly recommend going on the cruise. The views were beautiful. The food was so good too!

Good food, nice, clean and well kept boat, friendly crew. Very enjoyable cruise around the lake.

Fabulous evening! Weather was terrific. No outside seating left but we sat near the bar-seating was alittle tight but the wine was very good. Beautiful view just outside our window. We all had the chicken- great!

We absolutely love Al & Alma’s! My friends and I do a girls-only private cruise with them every year, and it’s always the highlight of our summer. The staff is amazing—friendly, professional, and they make everything so easy and enjoyable. The boats are beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone to relax, chat, and enjoy the views.
The food and drinks are also great and cruising on the lake creates such a special atmosphere. It feels like the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and celebration. Every year we’re reminded why we keep coming back—Al & Alma’s makes the whole experience so memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to host a private event or just enjoy a one-of-a-kind cruise!

As the organizer for a recent team outing, I selected an Al and Alma’s chartered cruise—and it exceeded all expectations.

From start to finish, the experience was seamless and engaging. Our hosts, Morgen and Nate, were exceptional—serving as captains, tour guides, and gracious facilitators throughout the 2.5-hour journey. Their commentary on the lake’s historic homes added a delightful and informative touch that my team thoroughly enjoyed.

The onboard dining was a hit, with hardly any food left by the end of the cruise, and the relaxed atmosphere allowed everyone to unwind and connect outside the office.

I highly recommend Al and Alma’s chartered cruises for any team-building event or corporate outing. It’s a perfect blend of leisure, learning, and camaraderie.

Today's boat ride was amazing! Captain Jim along with Chloe and Delaney made sure we had a wonderful experience. The food, drinks, and customer service were top tier! We can't wait to go again!
