Carbone's Pizzeria Bar & Grill Mound

Sandwiches are just bad. Jimmy Johns puts these guys to shame.We literally got 2 pieces of pepperoni, two thin slices of paper thin salami for the meat and a whole lotta bun with a mouthful of lettuce and tomato. 6 ordered sandwiches and everyone said the same. What a rip off at 17.00, first time and our last.

We ordered a double crust pepperoni and bread bites online. The order was supposed to be done at 6, but I do understand that those times are just closest estimates. However, my pizza took almost an hour. People were coming in after me and getting food before me. “It’ll be about 5-10 min” turned into “just 10-15 min more” 20 minutes after the first 5-10 minutes.

I had to grab my oldest Subway, drop him off and come back. After I came back, I had to wait approximately 5 more minutes for my not very hot pizza and bread bites.

The pizza was solidly mediocre, and the bread bites were rolled in salt I think. We tossed it and the rest of the family went to jimmy johns.

The folks in the kitchen were at least having a great time laughing and eating pizza. I need this kind of job- just work at your own pace and don’t worry about it… we used to be fairly frequent visitors to Carbones- it seems like after Covid, the quality died. This trip was the final straw— we are done.

Ordered a pizza to go. It took a good 45 minutes. I ordered a small specialty pizza. It cost approximately $20 which, to me, the food quality didn't match the cost.

This is the 5th time in 3 months we have ordered delivery. They have gotten our order completely correct once out of 5 times. Very frustrating. Pretty sad when you order a Chicken ceasar wrap (menu item) and it comes with absolutely no chicken. Sandwiches not correct. If they do not want you to make choices or changes do not give customers the option.

This is hands down my fav pizza spots around! The food is always amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The hoagies are my fav. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun, whether you’re stopping in for dinner with family or a night out with friends. Also love their specials—they always keep things exciting and give you something new to look forward to. Definitely a place worth visiting again and again!

Great food, nice and clean restaurant. Too bad the service here around lunchtime is terrible. Stopped in a few times recently. Was hoping it would be a good place to regularly meet up with my old dad, who lives close by. But no. Even with a mostly empty dining room the service here is bad/slow. Guessing the staff only really cares about the evening crowd.

The bartender lady with tattoos was kind of rude and seemed like she didn’t wanna be there and lacked customer service.

I have not order from Carbones in a long time and I remembered I didn’t care for it at all, well, I was wrong. Last night pizza was incredibly fresh, tasty and on time. I was greeted by the host right away. Service and food was 5 ⭐️

This place is terrible it took 2 hours to get one bowl of pasta and the red sauce looked like some one just threw it on it and gave it away there is not reason for it to take so long so bad!!

The reason I’m giving it a one star because I waited two hours for a frozen pizza that sucks and I could make it in 15 minutes tops it was terrible experience!!!!!! Don’t go here ever !!!!

Waited over two hours for a pizza with no explanation or apology from management. Watched multiple orders go out before mine, completely unacceptable. It will be a long time, if ever, that I consider going back.

So disappointing--food was super expensive and only ok. The waitress seemed distracted/upset--couldn't tell. Her head was in the clouds? She disappeared for long periods of time, but she never was on the floor as far as we could see. She brought the wrong orders and said she would bring a pitcher of pop but never did. She checked on us maybe twice? Really wasn't a good time at all and it was for Mother's Day.
