i normally don’t like to complain however i feel this visit warrants it unfortunately. i went through the drive through to get my dad and i a coffee as i’ve done several times. however, this was not a good idea nor that i’ve lived the experience. i ordered a matcha for myself which i haven’t in forever and a large dark roast for my dad. ive worked at caribou in the past so i know those drinks do not take long and are hard to mess up. however this was not my experience. first, it took much longer than it should’ve. this other should take maybe 3 minutes if busy- they were not. it took closer to 7. i was fine with this, i had nowhere to be. my issue was with my drink. first, there was no stopper in my coffee so it spilled on me right away and burned. this still wasn’t my issue as i am used to it from working with coffee for years. my issue was the matcha. when handed it, it looked extremely light and frothy. i understand it is made with a blender but my matches at caribou were never that foamy. upon drinking it after already driving off, it tasted like nothing. then, it just tasted gross. i love matcha, this was not a proper matcha. i’ve made myself matcha with the exact recipe caribou uses and they have never failed. this one was just not good. i couldn't go back as i had to get my dads drink back before it got cold (no stopper). this was disappointing. i treated myself with a large and was let down. worst coffee experience.

just spent $10 on a chai with almond milk. that’s all it is. milk and chai. i only got steamed milk. there was no chai. please do better. (this was a mobile order the baristas could clearly read CHAI and chose not to add it).
