I hate writing this because their pizza is great. The service however is ridiculous, like sorry for ordering a pizza? Showed up on time and waited 30 minutes for my pizza. No one came out with an update, no one apologized because they are busy, nothing. Didn’t even thank me. The place also hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. We will never order from here again, which sucks because we live 5 minutes away.

Be careful placing an online pickup order at this Chanticlear location -- the system allowed us to place a pickup order for a time when the location wasn't even open. (Depending where you look online the hours are listed differently too.) We went to pickup our pizza and the shop was locked up. We called a few hours later and the staff was able to track down our payment and make us a pizza. Pizza was good, but driving to the restaurant twice was a bummer. That said, we'll still give Chanticlear New Hope another try!

I consider myself a connoisseur of pizza and been coming to Chanticlear Pizza since the late 70's. I remember it being such a treat as a kid. This is the best pizza available anywhere. Consistently great even after all these years. Thanks for being way above all others in the pizza world.

Two stars because I've had their thin crust and it's fine, but we do have to add extra sauce and ask that it's well done. This review is more so that we placed an order July 3rd online, went to their restaurant at the time, and found that the open sign light was on. Not a single person was in the restaurant, the door was locked, and the parking lot was deserted... I went on their website, google, Yelp, and their Facebook page, and not a single thing said it was closed. Their website actually said they were open... so just not a great way to operate a business by not updating hours before a national holiday. Incredibly disappointing and very unprofessional.

Used to be a 5, now a zero, but that's not an option.We loved Chanticlear in New Hope for years. For a couple of years we didn't order food out due to COVID, etc. We recently did place a pizza order. We ordered a specialty pizza which included green or black olives and a choice of canned or fresh mushrooms. We opted for black olives and fresh mushrooms. The price seemed a little high but we figured prices may have gone up lately.When we received our order, there was an itemized receipt on which we were charged extra for our choices of olives and mushrooms that should have been covered in the total cost of the pizza. When we called about it, we were told there was nothing they could do since we'd already taken delivery of it.This past week we thought we'd give them another chance and this time ordered spaghetti and sausage. During the order the order taker said, sausage isn't an option on spaghetti, only meatballs. We'd always ordered it this way in the past. So, while the person was putting our order in he announced that he could add sausage after all, but couldn't take the meatballs off. We didn't want the meatballs but decided to not push the issue for fear of 5% of the food delivery being saliva. When we received the order it was spaghetti with both sausage and meatballs... but get this... there were what looked like 4 meatballs, however, they were CUT IN HALF!Chanticlear, you just lost two customers.The end.

I had several recommendations for this pizza place so we decided to give it a try. The pizza is good, thin crust, good flavor; everything we expected. However, the boneless wings are a joke...we ordered the boneless wings with a bourbon sauce and I didn't realize it would be a DIY thing... we got some pale obviously ore-frozen boneless nuggets and then a side container of sauce. It was so unappetizing and I wish they already added the sauce for us. Also, one of my favorite things about getting boneless wings is the delicious freshly made ranch dressing that most places provide. Sadly this place offers a pre-packaged Ken's dressing which is . I might come back for the pizza but that's about it.
Great pizza, better service. They didn’t have the 2 liter I ordered in stock so gave me a coupon for a free pizza to make up for it. Excellent service makes Chanticlear New Hope one of my favorite pizza joints around!

Great friendly service, the employees there are always polite. The reason for the 3 stars is my pizza was not made correctly. I go there at least 1 time per month, and this particular time we weren't satisfied at all.
