My sister and I happened to stop at this restaurant on our way to North Dakota this weekend. Not being from the area we were making a quick lunch stop. SO happy we ran into this hidden gem! The moment we opened the door we were greeted with wonderful scents of baked goods along with a delightful display of rustic ambiance. 1 cannot simply stop and order a quick yet delicious meal without browsing through the succulent display of homemade goodies. The assortment of baked goods calling us from behind the glass where these delights are waiting for you… well a girl can’t simply just order 1 item. I found myself ready to tackle a child over the chocolate fudge covered chocolate donuts… I was thankful when it came my time to be greeted by the gal behind the counter as she announced that she had more of those chocolate fudge covered chocolate donuts! The child was safely out the door without me tackling him as the wonderful lady whom I later learned was the owner reached for a box for the order I was eagerly waiting to place. “ I’ll take 1 dozen of those chocolate fudge covered beauties on the third shelf!” “I’ll have to try all of those delicious looking raspberries scones and oh my goodness throw in the rest of the blueberry scones too!” “ Look at those chocolate drizzled croissants… yes please I’ll take that whole row too.” At that point I’m certain that the owner thought I lost my mind. I wasn’t finished… “ oOH my , you have cookies!, I’ll take a dozen peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies and a girl cannot pass up those cookies with chocolate & coconut. Yes I’ll take them all! With her hands dashing from top to bottom of the display case she diligently gathered up, boxed and prepared for me every scrumptious treat my heart desired. She said I could stop every week. 😊 Lord knows if I could, I would. I definitely will be stopping again my next trip that direction. P.S.there’s no child getting in my way of those items in her bakery. This is one intelligent business woman who knows having a stash of goodies in the back is a bonus for a gal like me. Every morsel of her baked goods will be enjoyed. I give Farmers Daughter Rustic bakery 100 stars for excellent food, service and quality!💞

Really cute place, food was excellent!! The staff (2 young ladies) waited till they were done eating or on break to even acknowledge us or bring menus, they acted like they'd rather chew on tinfoil. Despite the staff, I would definitely eat there again!!!

Stopped on our way for breakfast on vacation. Delicious food! We got the breakfast burritos, a blueberry muffin, and some headlight doughnuts. Everything was superb. We stopped on a Thursday and we were definitely the young people from out of town. The clientele was 80-100 year old locals. Other than some incredibly inappropriate racist conversation at the table of 90 year olds next to us, it was a great breakfast. That is the reason for a lower star rating. If I ever come through town again, I would definitely get some food, probably take it to-go if the same crowd is there for coffee. Service was great as well.

Just got done with lunch on a Monday. There were 6 of us. The little girl that waited on us was very hard to hear for even the young people at the table. They were out of fries so if you wanted to have fries you needed to upgrade for a $2 fee. It took a long time for them to bring the food out. The food was OK, nothing to write home about. Prices were ok. Probably won't be going back.

Lots of tasty stuff. It's the only joint in town to get breakfast as early as 0400 hrs.. The "Farmers Daughter " is the chief baker.

Get goodies here and indulge your sweet tooth....or teeth!

Also, ck out the lost dog pic, maybe you're the key to his safe return.

The waitress was the nicest person ever, such a darling and waited patiently as I was having a difficult time choosing what to eat. Even though they servers were teens they did an excellent job and I’m happy to see that they are working and they aren’t in front of screens.
