I'm going to say usually "YES" but "NO" for today.
I've experienced years of great meals and friendly service at The North Pole. Today was really the exception when I ordered my sandwich without lettuce. The waitress shook her head, I explained I would get sick from lettuce, no lettuce on the sandwich for me. I got about 3-4 distinct moments when she openly disapproved.
I would love to be able to eat a meal without thinking about a stomach issue, so it got old real quickly.
I'm definitely willing to try The North Pole again because of the positive history, but the service tanked on my visit today.

The hot roast beef at this restaurant was bread and gravy. Roast beef was nonexistent. Only one scoop of potatoes. The photo is NOT from the North Pole.

Upon entering, we noticed that the location was full as there was a 15 min wait time upon arrival. It didn’t take more than those 15 min before we were seated. My friend and I decided what we wanted, but because it was so hectic and packed, we didn’t get our order taken until an additional 10 minutes later. Upon receiving our food, we were missing our drinks, so our friend had to get the waitress to bring them. She was friendly and asked us if we needed anything else. The food was pretty good, great portions especially for the price. The one thing I will say though is that the small juice that comes included with the North Pole combo is literally a small juice. Just a heads up to order a second drink because the small juice will likely not suffice. Other than that, everything went well.

Met my sisters for brunch. Had oatmeal which was very delicious. Thick consistency which is the way I prefer. Added raisins and brown sugar. Service was great! Great atmosphere!
