“If anyone would like a good restaurant to eat at I would suggest going to the North Pole restaurant in Newport Minnesota. The staff are nice and when you ask them for something they will get it for you right away.”

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well”

“I drove by this hidden gem weeks ago and finally was able to stop in for lunch today. I gotta say that this is some of the best tasting food I have experienced in Minnesota since returning home. I tried the Picadillo meal which was perfectly seasoned and not over salted like some places do. The rice was a perfect consistency and a freshy made salsa added a little kick to the meal. The customer service was top notch and I will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. A+++”

Food: Gorgeous/amazing presentation , fresh, hot, professionally packed. I ordered from Red Rabbit in Saint Paul for my work holiday party. Everyone LOVED the food and the portions are generous. I was able to easily and beautifully display it. The timing was perfect and everything went smoother than I had hoped. This is your one stop shop for all of your party food needs. “We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands.
