Hyacinth is a keeper. Creative food, well prepared, small but extremely well chosen wines. Portions were large, a bit too large in my view. Hyacinth is one of the few restaurants in the post Covid dining world that is daring to show us how innovative dining can be done.
Too loud in there.
One of my favorite spots in the cities. Amazing food with high quality ingredients and great changing menus. Extensive and thoughtful bar program as well. Genius chef. Amazing service, especially from my server Hanna. She really made my night. Will be back!!!!

Hyacinth is a charming restaurant serving new Northern Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly and attentive staff. The food is delicious, featuring a range of dishes from starters like fried olives, roasted carrots with ricotta & pesto, and flatbread to mains such as mezze maniche carbonara and hangar steak with a cognac peppercorn sauce. A recent highlight was Wild Acres Chicken Tonnnato, a twist on a Milanese classic with tender chicken, a sharp creamy dill sauce, and fresh sautéed green beans. The risotto al salto, a crispy risotto pancake, continues to receive praise, though some suggest ordering smaller portions for a family-style experience. The menu is small but thoughtfully curated, with flavorful pastas, including cacio e Pepe bucatini and linguini, and a variety of appetizers and mains.
The restaurant offers a variety of house-designed cocktails, including the haselhoff cocktail made with hazelnut gin, serpoul thyme liqueur, and besk, along with classic cocktails and an extensive list of amaros and vermouths. The wine list is limited but nice, and non-alcoholic options are available. Service is attentive and friendly, though some guests have noted it can be a bit slow at times. The space features high ceilings, which can make it quite lively and noisy, but the cozy patio out front provides a quieter option for dining.
