“Dining at Hyacinth was a true pleasure from start to finish. Bradon took amazing care of us, and we felt so pampered throughout the entire experience. This was our first time at Hyacinth, and we decided to stop in for a belated Valentine’s celebration. After reading the reviews and perusing the menu, our expectations were quite high, but I have to say that they were exceeded by the experience. First of all, the vibes were immaculate— cozy, elegant, and humming with energy on a Saturday night. I loved that it wasn’t stuffy or pretentious but still felt like fine dining. We decided to go all out and ordered a ton of dishes from the menu— NA sparkling wine, marinated white beans, scallops, squash crostini, roasted radishes, cacio e pepe, linguine a la puttanesca, and panna cotta. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted and full of punchy flavors. I loved the marinated beans with preserved lemon and a mix of herbs. I also loved how peppery the cacio e pepe was. The blend of textures in the squash crostini was excellent too. Many of the dishes had ingredients that aren’t usually my favorite, but they all shone in this context. I was skeptical of the scallop dish, because the texture of raw scallops is usually a turn off, but these scallops were fresh, buttery, and savory. The panna cotta was another star dish. It tasted like elevated rice pudding in the best way!My only small critique is that the cacio e pepe wasn’t as creamy as I had hoped. The pasta was perfectly cooked and so peppery, but I was hoping for a thicker sauce. The flavors were on point though. We loved our experience, and we left with full stomachs and a smile on our faces. Can’t wait to go back and try more fantastic creations.Vegetarian options: Solid vegetarian options. Two vegetarian entree options and a number of vegetarian appetizers. Especially good for pescatarians.“
“Our waiter was super nice. The food was so good!!!!! I especially love the spaghetti and the salt cod fritters. Their honeycomb cake is also delicious. Would recommendVegetarian options: There are 3 or 4 vegetarian options but the menu is not very big and they are deliciousDietary restrictions: I am vegan and they can take of cheese or meat on a lot of things to make it vegetarian or vegan.Parking: No parking it is on a busy streetKid-friendliness: They are kid friendly but I think older more mature kids are a better fit for this restaurant“
“Placed a pick order, and everything was ready at the time given. Easy in and out, decided to try it out on a recommendation, and glad we did. The food was great. We ordered a pizza and some ravioli. You could tell the pizza was made with quality ingredients just by the first bite. Didn't skimp on the toppings or cheese either! Ravioli was great and also came with some fresh baked bread, which added a nice touch to the dish. We definitely would recommend it to anyone who asks about a great pizza shop in the area. Prices were also great for the quality and amount of food that you receive. The service is great they treat you like family and not just like another customer!“
“Cozy and comfortable. It's not loud so you can have a conversation (even with a table of drunk mid aged men, the atmosphere was still enjoyable for a date night). The food came out fast and fresh. Lighting is nice and service is attentive without being overly intrusive. The free bread basket is so fresh and delicious rosemary flavor. Puttanesca was just right, not too salty and the lobster sauce on the ravioli- chef's kiss. I preferred the bread basket over the bruschetta but no complaints overall!Parking: Street parking on a Monday was easy.“
“The food is very much cafeteria style. It is not bad by any means but is definitely not Italian. The Ambiente was impacted for me because everything was served on a plastic tray and it was eaten with plastic silverware. It is good for a quick lunch but I would not go there for dinner. In my opinion the food is overpriced for what you get.Vegetarian options: Very much present and easy to findParking: Crowded“
“Cool place with a nice vibe. There's not many tables inside, although there's a long bar with seating and also an outside patio in warmer weather. Great street sandwiches, in particular the Prosciutto, absolutely fantastic. A little pricey for sandwiches, but very high quality and worth it as a treat.“
“Ordered off of DoorDash - I ordered chicken parmesan and Alfredo and both of them tasted amazing and then the breadsticks with it were perfect. It’s rare that I enjoy a restaurant’s Alfredo sauce and it was delicious. Very happy with this new find.“
“Yarruso's holds a special place in our family's heart, spanning generations with its authentic Italian food. Whether dining in or picking up sauce and meatballs, you can't go wrong. My father in particular, loved Yarruso's, and had been eating there since the 60s. So, when he passed away in November, it was only fitting to have Yarruso's cater his memorial service. Jerry and his team cooked up a huge feast to help us properly say goodbye to a great man. I know he would have loved it! Thank you for always being there for us!“
“I'm not kidding you guys take $4.99 is almost is pretty looking as how's the girl that works there that does not give out free food because she wanted to be a tough guy but that's okay I understand that rules are rules but maybe Valentine's Day will be so busy busy you busy I bet you can catch me“
“Kathy B was by far one of the best servers I have had in a long time. I enjoyed her kind smile and her attention to detail. I had taken my dad out for a dinner since its been a while. The Kitchen staff made the food so good that I not only ordered for then but I also bought another 2 meals for tomorrow. This place is more than a place that has good food and great service. It also has so many memories. I used to go their with my aunt whom I took care of for 13 years and knew most of the staff. Since She past I had not been in much because it was our spot. Lunch service is always packed. Dinner service tonight was busy but Kathy B. Made sure that my father was well taken care of and she even indulge me with a shirley temple a drink I used to get as a child with tons of cherries. The Store has the same classy look. I can recall when the restaurant's old menus were massive. Make sure you check all over to see the decor that has been growing for years and years. I do like the new they make the food pop more and they always great. If you can get the tiramisu you will love it. I have not moaned like that for a while almost like when Harry meet Sally.“
“Our server Haddie was amazing and we never saw the bottom of a glass. Haddie also educated us on great menu items and gave us direction on what to order off the menu. The food and cocktails were absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend the pizza rolls and Garlic Cheese Curds to get your palette going. All entrees were beautiful and bold flavors. I personally had the Cavatelli and it is now my most favorite metro pasta. The Butternut Squash was a 10/10 and The Cheese Steak had a healthy portion for perfection. We will be back again and again. It was also a nice touch to have management stop by to check on our experience. Great management !- Beau GeerOwner - Xtreme Pest Solutions“
“Our waitress very clearly did not want to be there and another kept running over to make up for her poor/complete lack of service. I felt bad for her. I wish I could have given the tip to the other one who visited our table way more, brought our food and to go boxes, and looked generally uncomfortable to be working alongside our waitress. Hopefully whatever was on our waitresses mind and distracting her was resolved positively.“
“They've made some good upgrades, but it's hard to recommend eating inside. Very crowded, especially the entry area. There's no where to wait for your table and stay out of the way of carry-out traffic. Very good food and nice servers.“
“We have tried the Grand Ave, Northeast MPLS, Roseville, and Eden prairie locations, and all are fantastic. They are consistent, fairly priced, and delicious. I chose to review the Grand Ave location because of the area - we stopped by Grand Ole Creamery afterwards, and had a great time there as well. Plenty of other places to visit on that streetEach location features plentiful parking, even the high-traffic locations of NE and Grand Ave. They are efficient with the ordering/cooking, and we choose to go here over Black Sheep & Pizza Luce every single timeI enjoy both styles they offer, but usually build my own. The focaccia is good too, but we normally just get pizzas. They freshly shave their parmesan cheese and offer bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar to take to your table, which we love“
“This is a rather small local restaurant. Attire would be business casual to upscale casual. Reservations are suggested. They have very creative menus and tasting options. Service and food quality is always excellent.Parking: There is an adjacent free parking lot but it's quite small. You'll typically be parking on the street and within one block.“
“A rarity nowadays post-Covid. We appreciate the attentive staff, appreciate the quality food, appreciate the relaxed, cozy ambiance. No pretension to distract froma good dining experience. We cherish their old school ways. We are happy they are in our neighborhood.“
“We recently celebrated my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary here, and everything was spectacular. We were greeted warmly, the service was exceptional, the food was outstanding, and we never once felt rushed to leave or vacate our table. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a top-quality Italian experience in the Twin Cities.“
“Hands down the best pizza in the Metro area. Crust is perfect, sauce is wonderful. And it's consistently the same delicious pie, time after time. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is great after their remodel. And the prices are beyond reasonable. This is the way pizza used to be, before there was a shop in every strip mall in the world.A+++“
“Local to Minnesota and food is awesome. I would prefer Hoagie (signature sandwich) and deep dish pizza. This particular location is my son’s favorite and he always prefers to order penne pasta with Alfredo sauce prefers to sit at same table near window :)Vegetarian options: Pizza, hoagie, pasta and salad ?Kid-friendliness: Pasta and pizza place.. kids love it“
“I could come here everyday for lunch, the pasta is made fresh in plastic spill free containers for to go orders. Pizza is simple amazing no soggy end when you hold it up to eat. Freshest Ceasar salad ? you can taste every ingredient, highly recommend!Great atmosphere plenty of seating, quick service, delicious food, worth trying every dish!“
“We ordered 28 pizzas for a 85 staff appreciation at a Middle School in Eagan during conferences. Pizzaman manager and staff were great to work with! They were flexible & returned calls timely. We got positive feedback from the teachers and staff about how great the pizzas were.We will be ordering from Pizzaman again for the next conference meal.Dietary restrictions: We had 5 Gluten Free pizzas for the large group of staff. We got great feedback on the Crust.“
“We were very excited to have an Andiamo closer to home. We have frequented the Woodbury location many times and love the food!Tonight my wife ordered the Penne Al Forno. She loved every bite.I ordered the Linguini Frutti di Mare. Lots of shrimp, mussels, and calimari. But I noted that it was a little flat on flavor that I remembered from past visits at the other location. When I got home I checked the menu and noted what was missing. Your chef needs to review his recipes. The dish was missing the crushed red pepper (which gives it it's distinctive flavor).I'll just figure that as an oversight. We'll be back. Welcome toSt. Paul!“
“Reds on White Bear is GREAT! Thin crust, tons of toppings and cheese- lots of cheese and cut in squares, the correct way to eat this type of pizza. Kidding aside, Savoys is an excellent choice for delivery or take out pizza! Not sure if there are tables inside....but single slices are available lunch hours. Wait times at prime times can be around an hour but plan ahead and call early and no problem. In-house delivery is an advantage because their employees are delivering, so your customer service is impeccable! Our favorite is the Savoy house special. The leftovers, if you are lucky to have any, are great in the air fryer! Treat yourself with Savoys! No pics because we ate it all“
“This is my fav bar in the twin cities. Such a cool space, fun atmosphere, chill vibe with a great selection of drinks and awesome food. Match that up to an awesome bartender (Dan is always outstanding in making drinks, super friendly and awesome customer service). 5 Stars!! Always look forward to going back.“
“An open seating area where you sit yourself after ordering. It is a very brightly lit area and can get crowded during dinnertime. Employees were friendly, although sometimes seemingly overwhelmed with the full restaurant and students unfortunately of orders as there were a few mistakes that were quickly fixed. Free water/lemonade/tea with glasses, although the cleanliness of the glasses were hit-or-miss. Free bread slices upon request is always a win. Food was ok for the pricing, nothing special. Garlic Shrimp spaghetti is very garlicy, not much else. The general consensus is it's good not great, very oily, and comes in decently sized portions. Plenty of free parking next to HarMar Mall.“
“It has been at least a decade since the last time I was in Carmelos, but based on my recent singular visit: Service is a little slow, and my chicken Parm was not amazing (it was acceptable). The bread isn't great, but its not awful. BUT the Arancini is amazing. It is LOUD, and it is CROWDED however.“
“Great place to eat if you are the type of person who likes to share their food so you can try more things on the menu. The food is “family style” in either small (feeds approximately 3) or large (feeds approximately 5). Everything we had was delicious!“
“Nice place for kids and groups. Have to have a taste for loud music (80 decibel) with electronic drum beat like Muzak version of Dreams by Fleetwood Mac. The food tastes like it was assembled from the freezer section. Service is ok but a stretch for the staff.“
“I love the feel when you walk in and then you sit down. It's very calming and you feel right at home waiting for the best deep dish pizza you'll ever eat. The owners are amazing and the pizza is even better! Best pizza in the state, I've had a lot of different pizza from all over this state. I'm not a deep dish guy but I tried it and holy moly I ended up taking a whole pie home. It was that good, if you're in the neighborhood and looking for a small Italian feel restaurant or even looking for a place to go on a date! This place is a win win. They also have a decent win collection to choose from as well. So again go ahead stop on in and relax for a hr or 2 cause it's just that damn good!“
“Went here with my parents, wife and two children. The service was excellent, the hostess was able to get us a table even though it was quite full and we had no reservations. The food was great, delicious meat balls, manicotti, and seafood dish. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the ice cream which everyone loved. The portions were large and we had enough left over for 4 of us to have lunch the next day. It's no wonder why this place was so busy. The prices were very fair and reasonable.“
