“I stumbled on this AWESOME place after I got a flat tire. I looked over and there it was.... ICE CREAM & it makes everything better! This place is Top Notch! super clean, inviting, best ice cream & the Folks who run it are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I'll be back often!!“
“One of the best restaurants in the state, especially their thin crust pizza! They have impeccable ingredients, consistent quality, and a fair price!I miss dining in, the ambiance is cheery and comforting. Maybe they'll open dining in again?Cheers!“
“Pizza was good but lukewarm by the slice, deserts are phenomenal. Hand made and delicious. Classic place to visit anytime I'm in St.paul for sure. Just hope next time the pizza is hot and fresh, it's a shame that it wasn't. Love it always though.“
“I literally work next door to Cafe Latte! Yesterday, I brought a gift card in to use that my Fiance bought me for Christmas. It didn’t work, several people attempted to make it work, to find it wasn’t loaded right. The manager asked me, “how much was on here.” So I replied. She loaded the amount I said, no questions, didn’t ask for a bank transaction. Just rang it up. Customer service at its best! Never a bad experience!“
“We love skinner’s! The food is always excellent and we always love supporting locally owned businesses. Lately it has been incredibly difficult to get a table and even pick up orders are taking an hour which makes it difficult with kids (this is placing orders prior to 5pm so even on weekends an hour wait for takeout at that time is excessive and I spent 10 years as a server at popular pizza restaurant in Duluth and understand rush times). Again love supporting local businesses but skinner’s seems to be thriving beyond their space and we will be looking to spread our business around, while still ordering from skinner’s from time to time.“
“They've made some good upgrades, but it's hard to recommend eating inside. Very crowded, especially the entry area. There's no where to wait for your table and stay out of the way of carry-out traffic. Very good food and nice servers.“
“Being from the East coast and working in the Philly area, I have always said that Philly Cheesesteak's here in Minnesota don't taste right..... until I went to Tono's in Saint Paul. I reminded me of home so much that I bring my family from an hour away to enjoy the food.“
“I had a pepperoni pizza with green olives and chicken wings and they were delicious. The pizza is the best I've had in minneapolis and the wings were crispy and delicious. The atmosphere was pretty great as well with nice music and locals enjoying their food. Tommy served us at the front and was friendly and personable even offering a free salad. After our experience we will be back for more.“
“For an incredible pre-Wild game dinner experience, this is your best choice around the arena. Suggest arriving early (2 hours min) or make reservations. Sometimes a spot opens at the bar. We love the food and ambiance. Great cocktails too! The Sunday brunch is delish!“
“First time here. Made a reservation. Hosts there don't seem like they want to be there. The waitresses were friendly. You walk in and it doesn't seem like a restaurant, layout is weird. Looks like an ice cream shop. Then they take you to the dining and you see pink panther stuffed animal decor. The bread that comes with the dinner salad was pretty decent. Got the ravioli appetizer. A little bland on the inside but the sauce and outside were decent.Service was a little slow and the pop was flat. Great portion for the pasta. Had leftovers for the next day. Deep dish pizza was good and very filling. It was a good try at something new but I probably won't go back.“
“Went to the friends and family event this weekend. Love the vibe and atmosphere, the bar is large and great set up. I had never had the pizza before and thought to myself “ what’s so special ?” But it was… great texture, perfect flavor and good size. We also had the stuffed pasta, perfect collaboration of flavors …. Great addition to St Paul downtown , looking forward to Palace theater events! Love this Wrestaurant! ❤️“
“We have been going to Carbone's for 35+ years. We went to our son's home in Anoka Friday evening and he asked us to bring a Family Special for supper! It was Great As usual!Dietary restrictions: We get the Gluten free Pizza for our oldest son.“
“The food is great and the owner is really friendly! If you come you absolutely MUST get the sweet potato fries with their house made ranch - it's AMAZING.The pizza is also fantastic, and there are a lot of options to choose.Great atmosphere as well.“
“The food is beyond great. The pizzas are wonderful taste and smells just as you think a old pizzeria should be BUT then there is the Lasagna that is out of this world in flavor best I've ever had, now I'm not a pasta person but I can't seem to get enough of JOEY'S C Lasagna Try it you won't regret it. The employees are wonderfulParking: Several right in front of the restaurant“
“Cannot say enough good things about our experience at Zambonis on 7th!! Stopped in Friday and camped out and ate and loved the entire experience! We attempted to give wild bills our business Saturday night, and after awful service we left and returned to zambonis! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are everything you would want from a local bar/restaurant! Ps...ask for Gus! He is hilarious!“
“I'm in Florida right now and decided to leave a review because I am bored. I'm only in MN so many days a year, but when I am in town I order pizza here. It is always perfect. this is for those who want an opinion on pizza and where to get it. go here.“
“We have tried the Grand Ave, Northeast MPLS, Roseville, and Eden prairie locations, and all are fantastic. They are consistent, fairly priced, and delicious. I chose to review the Grand Ave location because of the area - we stopped by Grand Ole Creamery afterwards, and had a great time there as well. Plenty of other places to visit on that streetEach location features plentiful parking, even the high-traffic locations of NE and Grand Ave. They are efficient with the ordering/cooking, and we choose to go here over Black Sheep & Pizza Luce every single timeI enjoy both styles they offer, but usually build my own. The focaccia is good too, but we normally just get pizzas. They freshly shave their parmesan cheese and offer bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar to take to your table, which we love“
“Today is my day off. Stopped in and accidentally ordered the wrong piece of pizza. I called in telling them they made the mistake but apparently I made a mistake and they still gave me what I wanted which was a vegetable topped pizza. Great service great people! I’m so glad I live right across from their establishment. Because it’s my one treat myself on a day off as a business owner! I am a customer for life.“
“Simply the best. The workers always bear with my bizarre requests and desire to taste-test every flavor no matter how obscenely busy they are. Endlessly charming atmosphere. The cones have jelly beans at the bottom!!!Black Hills Gold and Pomegranate Sorbet are my favorites. Mom is a big fan of the malty flavor (forgot the name) and boyfriend loves the cookie monster and peppermint bonbon (he's crazy and likes to put them together. I don't get it either).“
“What a delight. This place was recommended for one of the must dos in the area and it did not disappoint. It was just after lunch and it was not crowded and quick service. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Meatballs were spot. To top it off I had it with a Fanta which I haven’t had in quite a while. Will be back!“
“2nd time eating from here via delivery.Style is mom and pops pizza for sure.Quality is upper end.For some reason both pizzas I have tried were totally different in dough textures l, one was puffy bread style, which I very much enjoyed. Not scillian styled but still puffy. This time is was.much more thin/crispy. Almost like house made tavern pizza dough. Not my style, but still good.Overall I recommend you give a pie a chance.“
“Good pizza!! Almost felt like i was back at home and in NYC. As a person from the gritty streets of the bronx i can definitely vouch for them. This has been the closest thing to a nyc slice i've had in a while here in MN. I must say that this place is a pain in the a$$ to get to. I walked literally 20 mins trying to find the place..i would give 4 stars but the pizza was too good. And they're quick with it, got my slices hot and ready in like 3 mins or less. They are located in a dining area i forgot the name. I guess if you find parking closer to that, youll be straight.“
“First off, shout out to Dana, she was the best server ever, second this place has the best wings I've ever tasted. They are great in size, they give you plenty, it's tender, juicey, very delicious. Please go visit, tip dana very well, im going back very soon for those wings.“
“Can’t say enough good things about the food here!! Randy goes out of his way to help his customers and I have definitely benefited from that! Constantly working on new and exciting things for the GF community and we are so thankful for it!! Dying to try the deep dish that’s in development! Please Bring a Randy’s to the south metro!!“
“Hands down the best pizza in the Metro area. Crust is perfect, sauce is wonderful. And it's consistently the same delicious pie, time after time. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is great after their remodel. And the prices are beyond reasonable. This is the way pizza used to be, before there was a shop in every strip mall in the world.A+++“
“5-stars isn’t a high enough rating..This place does not miss!! Absolutely love their pies especially well-done! We also love their Mac and Cheese! My wife and I drive from Burnsville to get Mavericks and the crisp on the crust holds up perfectly in the commute. This is our go-to spot for pizza!!“
“Pizza was fulfilling the garlic bread was ?????Variety of Beverages "cold"Service was great!??✌️Nice size place plenty of room for a pizza party and the windows are nice to see outside view! (Clean)Chairs are comfortable and they have to-go boxesAlong with crushed peppers, parmesan cheese, napkins and toothpicks???Parking: Alot of space to parkFront, back or sideKid-friendliness: Yes kid friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for wheelchairs“
“It has been many years since a restaurant has provided excellent service, flavorful food and reasonable prices. I drive from South Minneapolis to Woodbury for Family Dinners and to-go orders, it is more than worth the trip. Andiamo is my new favorite.“
“I'm not a big pizza fan! However, after having a slice I will definitely be sharing the goodness of this NY style pizza! Real Great pizza, awesome customer service! Multiple drink choices to choose from also a very clean environment! if you have not tried Slice brother's , I recommend you do! See you guys and gals soon.Parking: The parking was great!“
“I LOVED this pizza! Given it’s in the airport, I didn’t have high expectations but it’s better than restaurants in the city! The wood fire bake has great flavor and the options are fun. They have breakfast pizzas which I’m going to try next. I originally ordered the sausage pizza on my way out so I had to heat it up and it STILL tasted great. It’s similar to the punch pizza chain but a little crispier crust. Honestly I dare say this is my favorite place in the MSP airport and I travel every other week. The service was fast, and the man working the register was so kind.“
“First time getting dinner here. I was looking for Detroit style pizza and was delighted to find a delicious, not over-priced, and totally delicious pie. The 8 corners pizza is straight up a sin, and so worth eternal damnation because every slice is equally THE BEST SLICE. You can tell these guys have a passion for their pizza. The mushrooms were not soggy canned mushrooms! And each bite… THAT CRUNCH 10/10 will be bach“
“I don’t even like pizza but my son wanted some so we stopped by here and oh my god this was the best pizza I ever had definitely coming back there was only one worker a young white man working this afternoon I believe his name was Noah he was very fast making my order and he had a great attitude. next time I will be eating in!“
“This is a fun and fairly new gem in a funky, developing former factory site. The vibe is a blend of old warehouse with a layer of mid-century aesthetics. They are a distillery and make their own spirits onsite from which they have created a list of classic and unique cocktails. Of special note is their trentaerbe (roughly Italian for thirty herbs) which is refreshingly minty and blends well in their own cocktail recipes. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations. We were impressed with the broccolini appetizer with peppery honey sauce balanced against a smoked whitefish pâte that evokes the smoked fish of Minnesota's northern lake country. Entrees are mostly limited to pizza at this point, but once again, there are twists brought to the toppings nicely prepared. I like that they seem to be focused on doing a few things well and hope they will be able to build and take time to develop.“
“Reds on White Bear is GREAT! Thin crust, tons of toppings and cheese- lots of cheese and cut in squares, the correct way to eat this type of pizza. Kidding aside, Savoys is an excellent choice for delivery or take out pizza! Not sure if there are tables inside....but single slices are available lunch hours. Wait times at prime times can be around an hour but plan ahead and call early and no problem. In-house delivery is an advantage because their employees are delivering, so your customer service is impeccable! Our favorite is the Savoy house special. The leftovers, if you are lucky to have any, are great in the air fryer! Treat yourself with Savoys! No pics because we ate it all“
“Probably my favorite pizza place in the state of Minnesota. I love the music that was playing in the background. Our waitress was excellent! Plus, there's the pizza. One of the eaters at my table has a dairy allergy and she was even able to get pizza with vegan cheese. The "Bear" that I had was fantastic and it was even good cold the next day from my fridge.“
“This Pizza Man has been a staple of mine for as long as I can remember. My Grandparents would order from here when I was such a small child. It's so nice that this place is still open. Nothing else has survived in this strip, but I hope Pizza Man holds out forever. The pizza is so good, the ingredients are very fresh, it's quality you can see and taste. I will say they are a bit more expensive. I know the price of everything is on the rise, but this place has always been on the higher end. But as with most things, you get what you pay for!“
“I can't say enough about this Pizza Man! Their pizza is #1 in Eagan. And they really know how to take care of their customers. Thank you Chad for all you have done!! We have been customers since you opened and we are not changing. You guy are AWESOME!!“
“Older pizza place but definitely the best in the area with good prices & THE best Buffalo wings! Great customer service as well. Also, when you call to order and hear the " welcome to checkerboard pizza, please hold," then you'll hear a hang-up click and silence until they answer. Do not hang up! You won't regret it ?“
“The food is great, as long as your not ordering delivery, they have 2 people on weekdays and maybe 1 on weekends, so food will arrive cold and in 1 hour and 30 minutes minimum, pizza is OK to reheat, fries, not so much. When ordering take out, please remember it's a small staff and when it's busy they will be short with you, but the food will be amazing. The inside of the restaurant is small, but definitely had a homey feel.“
“An open seating area where you sit yourself after ordering. It is a very brightly lit area and can get crowded during dinnertime. Employees were friendly, although sometimes seemingly overwhelmed with the full restaurant and students unfortunately of orders as there were a few mistakes that were quickly fixed. Free water/lemonade/tea with glasses, although the cleanliness of the glasses were hit-or-miss. Free bread slices upon request is always a win. Food was ok for the pricing, nothing special. Garlic Shrimp spaghetti is very garlicy, not much else. The general consensus is it's good not great, very oily, and comes in decently sized portions. Plenty of free parking next to HarMar Mall.“
“Dar’s Double Scoop has a rich history in St. Paul and the quality has remained consistent. I usually stop in for some quarts of ice cream to take home. Cake and Ice Cream is one of my favorites with chunks of yellow birthday cake making it delicious. I also go for cookie dough, cotton candy, cookies and cream, pecan, and monster cookie. All delicious flavors regardless of taking it in a to go quart, on a waffle cone, or in a shake. Cheese curds, wings, and mini donuts are also amazing! The customer service is solid and the decor inside is fun. Dar’s is one of the best local ice cream shops in the Twin Cities!“
“Had these guys for the first time tonight. What a treat! This pizza was fresh, delicious, and perfect. Awesome crust, the sausage was phenomenal, and a pretty solid sauce too. No joke my new favorit le pizza and that's saying something because we have some solid joints in the neighborhood.“
“Food is great. Service is outstanding. Don't bother to ever try ordering online. For months their website has refused to recognize any credit or bank card we try to use (commonplace cards, Visa etc). I've passed this feedback to them multiple times but correcting the website seems to be not a priority for months on end. You're much better off calling the local restaurant and talk to one of the delightful and helpful workers. They will take care of you better than the corporate run crappy online option.“
“Savoy Pizza in St. Paul is a hidden gem for pizza lovers like me! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The staff here is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Now, let's talk about the pizza - it's simply amazing! The crust is perfectly crisp, and the toppings are fresh and generous. I tried their classic pepperoni, and it was mouthwatering. The flavor and quality of their ingredients truly set them apart from other pizza places in the area. What I appreciate most about Savoy Pizza is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients. It's evident in every bite. Whether you're a fan of traditional toppings or looking to try something unique, they have a wide variety of options to satisfy your pizza cravings. The prices are reasonable for the quality you receive, and the portions are generous. It's also a great place to dine with family and friends, and they offer takeout and delivery options for those busy days.In summary, if you're in the St. Paul area and craving delicious pizza in a cozy atmosphere, look no further than Savoy Pizza. I highly recommend giving them a try—you won't be disappointed!“
“10/10 for everything Mario's! There are two places in the Twin Cities that do Detroit style pizza best and if you don't know the other that's your problem!Love the retro atmosphere at Mario's including the arcade game you or the kids can play while waiting for your food.“
