10/10 for everything Mario's! There are two places in the Twin Cities that do Detroit style pizza best and if you don't know the other that's your problem!Love the retro atmosphere at Mario's including the arcade game you or the kids can play while waiting for your food.
Supreme pizza was incredible. Hot honey sauce was really good--will come back for the hot honey pepperoni. It was tasty adding it to the 4-cheese ricotta pizza, though. Pretty inexcusable wait time, but maybe it was just a busy day. Confusing interior design with too few tables--pretty sure we saw some slow diners get kicked out so that a family could sit down?Is it better than Tono's? Price-wise, no. It was pretty expensive, and a service fee is added onto the order, BUT delicious pizza they have! The staff is kind and helpful. I went in the evening, and it was kind of busy, but it wasn't hard to grab a table.
