“Hyacinth is a keeper. Creative food, well prepared, small but extremely well chosen wines. Portions were large, a bit too large in my view. Hyacinth is one of the few restaurants in the post Covid dining world that is daring to show us how innovative dining can be done.“

“Honestly I'm shocked reviews are so low. Some of the best airport food I've ever had! And many gluten free options!!! Which is nearly impossible as someone with celiac. Airports suck for celiacs, and dining hours need to adapt with travel schedules, but that's another story... This place has a halal certified food truck that serves shwarma, hummus, falafel, and more. The servings are slightly small but the quality is immensely good. Chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. Hummus was good - much, much better than store ought. I'm serious. If you're in MSP, go eat here. You'll be glad you did. I got the chicken shwarma with hummus and my fiancee got the falafel. She got the pita, which they steam and place in a bag. We shared dolmas. All tasty!“

“I ordered online late at night and when I arrived, they’d had to close early, but told me to come back the next day and they would honor my order. I’m so glad I did! They provided me with the falafel wrap and mango smoothie I ordered (both fresh and delicious) and also gave me an order of hummus for the inconvenience I experienced. “Quick (10min if not busy). Good value. To-go area is laid out very poorly - looks like a closed off-storage area at first glance. Needs signs, menus, more light. Need to more clearly disclose the ~5% "hospitality fee" that's automatically added to the bill.“

“Just moved to the neighborhood and this place is incredible. The folks are super friendly and everything has been delicious. The first time we went, we sat in the dining room and they have a back room with a table of billardettes. It was super cool to see folks playing and learn how it works. My partner is Eritrean and the Awaze Tibbs and a veggie platter were a smash hit. Since then, we've had cheese steaks and espresso drinks. Both were delicious. They roast their own coffee beans and even sold us some. We are also looking forward to the upcoming Eritrean community events they have advertised. Only critique is the bathroom could use some love. It doubles as a storage closet/shower full of cleaning supplies.“

“10/10–This place is delicious. I’ve ordered for delivery on doordash twice now and had to come on here to write a review because it’s just that good. I had the Naughty Greek with the spicy tzatziki. Both times it was SO GOOD! The pita was soft, the meat was delicious, and the whole thing was super flavorful. I really enjoy the fresh toppings like onions, feta, cucumbers, and olives, they really add depth and complexity and complimentary textures and flavors. The spicy tzatziki is incredible with the perfect amount of heat, might just be my new favorite sauce. I also love that everything is halal! can’t wait to check out the restaurant in person and try more menu items. So happy I found this place!

“Food is not only extremely authentic, but so good it forces you to express your happiness out loud. Dude serving us was great and also the cook. The atmosphere is cheap and loud, but charming if you know what you're getting into. Not a lot of space and wouldn't recommend for a long talkative dinner, but you've gotta try this place once.“

“Was really excited to try this place. They give huge portions, which I was not expecting, you can definitely split something. Tried the beef (Somali Steak) with lime and lamb gyro. Wish I had tried the chicken marinated with lemon. The basmati rice was delicious, it was my favorite thing! Fast service after they took our order.“
