“What a gem. The staff/owners were friendly and helpful. The portions for the suqaar were ample. I had the goat and chicken, I probably liked the seasoning profile on the goat more than the chicken. The rice they came with was fantastic - perfectly cooked and seasoned. It wasn't busy when I was in so there was plenty of time to chat with the staff. I am definitely going back.“
“Such a wonderful restaurant! We came here as a small group for a close, intimate lunch/dinner on a spring Sunday. The atmosphere was inviting, warm and filled with appetizing smells. We were seated by the window, in the cool sunlight, in a booth with plenty of space for the three of us.We ordered the coffee to start with sambuusas, eating and drinking and talking merrily. In no time, the meals came, two orders of Tibbs and one order of Kitfo. The portions were generous and the tastes rich and delicious! We enjoyed every bite, leaving full.and satisfied with our meal and our experience. We hope to come again soon and try more of the various options! ?“
“Had no idea what the place was. Expected a bacon n eggs diner. It’s an East African joint and quite good. The owner (Ah Fork? Is how he pronounced it) was a good dude. Got a chicken wrap sandwich thing. Super good. With fries it was $10!! I’ll be back.“
“This place blew me away. I had a lamb chapati wrap and I LOVED it! I'm from one of those snobby coastal cities where we like to think we have the best food choices, but this place is better than anything I've had for lunch at home. Very friendly service as well. The only minor suggestion would be that they should improve their ventilation system. The place is more of a grab and go than a sit down so this may not bother folks who don't sit down to eat here.
