“Sō Māla. This place going in, you can smell the food they cooked. The place is clean and very welcoming by the staff. They greeted me the second I came through the doors. My husband & I try a new restaurant once a week & last night we tried So Mala. I never leave reviews (I believe this is my first), but staff asked me for feedback & they deserve it! The food was phenomenal. I got the beef suqaar meal & my husband got the chicken suqaar. We got takeout & ate it nearby the capitol, then maybe 30 minutes later we ended up finishing all of it off! What a gem. The staff/owners were friendly and helpful. The portions for the suqaar were ample. I had the goat and chicken, I probably liked the seasoning profile on the goat more than the chicken. The rice they came with was fantastic - perfectly cooked and seasoned. It wasn't busy when I was in so there was plenty of time to chat with the staff. I am definitely going back.
