The place smells like a true African store/market so don't get your panties in a bunch the prices are as reasonable as reasonable comes! The only problem I had is. I ordered meat sticks and being that they were sitting there all day the meat sticks didn't agree with me. Besides that, the Waterside market is just what a neighborhood like Brooklyn Center and every other neighborhood like it needs! “We stumbled across this when looking for African food and it's the greatest gem ever in the heart of downtown. The service was amazing from taking our order over the phone to rushing to get our food to us, as hot as possible. The woman that helped us was sweet and very gracious for our business, when we should be thankful for her. This food is 10/10 in every aspect. The fufu is fantastic, the chicken and fish were incredibly flavorful and juicy. Both the rice and beans were so flavorful and the portions were giant. The woman working there was very nice and accommodating. I informed her that I’m vegan and inquired about a few of my favorite Nigerian foods: egusi, greens, jollof, and beans. She didn’t have egusi. She stated that she had greens but they’re made with fish. She then offered to make me a fresh batch sans the fish if I had time to wait. I most certainly do! It wasn’t a long wait either. I got a hefty container of food for about $15. There was enough food for 2 days (if I wasn’t being greedy).I tried my food right away. The greens were very good and clearly freshly made with quality produce. The beans were good. The jollof rice was SLAMMIN!!
