Absolutely loved our first trip here! Amazing flavors, perfect sizes, and great prices. Thrilled we found this amazing shop.

Best ice cream I have ever had! I wish I lived closer. Tables outside were all dirty with ice cream spills etc. , otherwise I loved this place!

Big Dipper Creamery in North Oaks is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves high-quality ice cream with a wide variety of flavors. Today, I tried their brownie deluxe and pistachio combo, and both flavors were excellent—rich and satisfying. Previously, I had their brownie fudge and chocolate combo in an Oreo-dipped sugar cone, which was equally delicious. The texture and taste of the ice cream are always spot-on, and the variety of options means there's something for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions.

The shop itself has a friendly atmosphere and is a great place to bring family or friends. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the ice cream and the unique flavor combinations make it worth it. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Big Dipper Creamery is definitely worth a visit!

It’s really sad how poor the service is here. The staff are downright RUDE/horrible. We live in the neighborhood and sadly every time we go here it is the same. We come after sports practices looking for a sweet treat (and honestly there’s places with better ice cream and better selection), but every time we come I feel remorse that I even spent my money here. It’s convenient, and that’s about the only thing good about this place. If you want nice service and polite hospitality-you’re out of luck with this place. I do understand that they are mostly are teens working here, but they lack all basic social skills whatsoever. Tonight the lady who checked us out threw the iPad screen around at me to sign and give a tip and walked away without saying 2 words. Just sad. We’ve been here way too many times with the same treatment.

The dairy free chocolate and strawberry were really good! The kids loved all the options and were happy with their choices.

When we first walked in, the workers didn't greet us, even though they looked right at us. There was not a lot of options to choose from. We ended up ordering but the ice cream was pretty sweet and not flavorful. Not impressed, but worth a try if you want ice cream.

I don’t need a high schooler laughing and joking about her giant hicky on her neck while scooping ice cream for my small kids. Great ice cream though.

Best ice cream ever. I would travel a hour or more to enjoy. We miss them in the winter but are thrilled to see them come back in the spring. 😋

The ice cream here is AMAZING!!!! The cones are actually flavorful too! I've never had a waffle cones or sugar cones I've liked until I've been here and the sef ice was wonderful! The lady who helped us was very kind and patient, I had a few questions and she was happy to answer. She was really patient with my kids too.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps to get up the side walks and there are no steps, but there's no handicapped button to open the door

We wanted something other than DQ. This place is a cute little shop. Staff was super friendly. Lots of flavors. We tried birthday cake, snickers, and ultimate chocolate? They were all good. There are a variety of cones and shakes etc. I liked they had kid sized cups. It was perfect size for the Littles. Will be back.
