I loved everything about this place!I want to make sure that you're aware that I'm rating them on their breakfast (not sure what lunch or dinner is like).The atmosphere is easy going, laid back and fun. It's not over the top or just plain or lacking.Service. Our server was great. She was attentive, not the forgetful type (where they come back twice and ask what you ordered). She was johnny on the spot to refill drinks AND to see if everything was good. She was friendly but not the kind that ends up telling you how the last month of her life is going. And she had a great sense humor and great personality.The food! I couldn't outright decide what I wanted and asked the server for help with my narrowed down decisions. Glad I asked! My breakfast was freaking amazing! Everything was hot, delicious and just... awesome.I can't wait to have breakfast here again. AND, I'm definitely going to try lunch and dinner here too!I hope this helps. Cheers!

We were hoping more for a true diner experience, instead we walked into what seemed more like a sports bar that had tables from the 70's. It just didn't feel like a diner.Then the food. I've NEVER had a crunchy hamburger, until then. While the rest of the flavors of the burger were good, the crunchy burger that had all flavor seared out of it made it a complete flop. The bacon wrapped cheese curds, while the dipping sauce was good... seems horrifically overpriced for what you got (I think it was like $2/curd).Then... we get the check, and there's an undisclosed upcharge for "hospitality". We were told it was to "offset inflation" instead of just increasing the price of each item. Yet... this fee was NEVER disclosed and should be illegal.

Was charged $1.00 for about a tablespoon of mayo. Waitress charged my Sister for the Mayo that I ordered. She also gave me the wrong change. She shorted me over $4.00. She did correct the mistake. The hamburger was very good. Count your change and look at your bill.I think you should have a few chairs for older people to sit on while waiting to be seated. I had to stand for 15 minutes, I'm 86 years old. It's hard to stand when you get old

Nice little spot in historic North Saint Paul. The place is small but still has some big energy when you're inside for dinner. I stopped in and got some lunch. I definitely recommend the Rodeo Smash burger. It's big enough to fill you up for a while. I upgraded my fries to the truffle fries, which definitely made the meal that much better. If you happen to be in the North Saint Paul area, you should check this place out.
Easter breakfast with my son - he loves the hangover burger! Great addition to the menu.

Look here’s the deal. Been coming to Mac’s for a while now and have primarily had great experiences. In fact, so good that I once thought this could compete with Not Just-A. For the time being, I was wrong. Surprised at how far downhill this went in such a hurry. Putting them on timeout until fall time to see if they can turn it around.

Nice a laid back scene. Service was awesome. Enjoyed my visit. I’d recommend the Jamaican Jerk wings, not too much of the cheese curds. I’d rather it just be cheese curds and not bacon wrapped. Onion rings were well battered. Loved it.
Nasty food the burger patties taste like they have no seasoning and the fries are oily & soggy

What a cute little place tucked away in North St. Paul. Great service and a fun little diner! Fish and chips were very good as was the Mac Burger! I would definitely hit this place up again in the future! Side note: Kids eat for free on Thursdays!!
