“We stopped in by accident on a Friday night. The food is incredible. The cook really understands herbs and spices and is making everything from scratch. Not being familiar with Ethiopian food, we randomly ordered samosas, lamb tips, beets and lentils. Each dish was a mouthful of delight. The beets were my favorite and my friend who does not like beets loved this. Not at all convenient to my house, I will gladly drive for this food and sweet little restaurant.”

“So so good & really fresh! We ordered takeout and it was so good that we had to go in-person the same week for a birthday. The food was so on point and beautifully plated. It tasted high end, but with more decent prices. Polite staff and kid friendly. Spice levels were adjustable. The pad thai noodles were smooth & flavorful. I'm not sure what kind of noodles or sauce they used, but the noodles were never dry, even when we had take out, it was amazingly smooth and perfectly soft. The pad thai & beef laab were my favorites. Everything we had was really good, fresh & packed with flavor.”

“Fantastic “hole in the wall” Chinese restaurant for takeout. I’ve been searching for Chinese food like this for years. It reminds me of my childhood. Very reasonable prices, great flavor, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. I met a customer who had been going here for 40 years—since he was a young boy. That says a lot. I will definitely return!”

“The individual working here are hard working and take on so much since they are under staffed. I went in today inside to order and one gentleman was running both the counter and drive through. Another was filling orders while I believe two people worked making our food with care. *** THEY WORKED HARD. THEY HUSTLED AND DELIVERED. *** Yes sometimes we all make mistakes Let's be patient and if you don't have time to wait don't go through ANY drive-through and turn your stress onto another individual without understanding there situation. If you only have 10 mins to spare that's on you. I applaud 👏 ✌️ 🙌 these individuals working full speed to satisfy to the best they can.”

“This is my go-to fast food favorite, bar none! 90% of the time the food you want is already made and ready to eat. The other 10% is because it's lunch or dinner time or they came out with another new entree and it's already that popular. I don't mind either way because it's that delicious and such a nice staff/clean atmosphere.”

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well”

“I drove by this hidden gem weeks ago and finally was able to stop in for lunch today. I gotta say that this is some of the best tasting food I have experienced in Minnesota since returning home. I tried the Picadillo meal which was perfectly seasoned and not over salted like some places do. The rice was a perfect consistency and a freshy made salsa added a little kick to the meal. The customer service was top notch and I will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. A+++”

Food: Gorgeous/amazing presentation , fresh, hot, professionally packed. I ordered from Red Rabbit in Saint Paul for my work holiday party. Everyone LOVED the food and the portions are generous. I was able to easily and beautifully display it. The timing was perfect and everything went smoother than I had hoped. This is your one stop shop for all of your party food needs. “We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “Accidentally arrived at Brunson's for lunch because the place down the road where we were supposed to go was closed. Best service I've had anywhere in America since before covid. Food was excellent, made from scratch, and doubt anyone could go wrong on the menu. Highly recommend.”

The menu has a huge selection of ice cream, shakes, sundaes, and treats, so there's something for everyone. If you're patient during the rush, you'll be rewarded with some really tasty ice cream. Highly recommend!”
