We went here and had a really good meal. We had egg rolls (3 out of 5), cream cheese wontons (4.5 out of 5), Pho (4.5 out of 5) and Drunken Noodles (4 out of 5). The egg rolls were kind of hard to characterize - definitely not Chinese style, not really Vietnamese style, but good nevertheless. The price was reasonable, service was good, and the atmosphere was friendly. My only complaint was that they didn't have sugar for my (excellent) hot tea.

The service was outstanding and so was the pho! Great modern atmosphere with a full bar. I will be coming in whenever I am in St. Paul!

Went to eat here, some food items were not available even when it was well past noon. The dishes we did order were not so good, we only ate it because we paid for it already. Definitely not going back.

Took my uncle out to eat here. Was recommended the house fried rice and that was superb. A little smokey and I asked for medium spicy and they got it on point. Tried out the shrimp tempura and it was also satisfying. Will definitely come back for the sushi part of their menu.

Went here for the first time. Plenty of parking and a very clean restaurant. The staff were all friendly and the wait time was not bad. The sushi took longer to get than the regular kitchen.
The appetizers we got were the cream cheese wontons (they were out of the crab ones) and the egg rolls. They were both good. The wontons had green onion in the mix. The egg rolls had lots of noodles inside them.
The sushi was good. I didn't try it myself but my friend said she really liked it.
The pho was decent. The meatballs came with tendon so if you don't like that a heads up. The broth was average but not bad by any means. The only thing I was not super happy about was the noodles were really over cooked and kept breaking apart in the bowl.
The prices were very fair. The staff was friendly. The establishment was clean.

Pho broth had no pho aroma. Like a flat soda with no fizz. Decent prices.

It is truly a hidden gem that recently opened. I usually avoid sushi at asian fusion restaurants since they usually disappoint, but not here! 3 times I've come in and tried their sushi because it was that good and fresh. I think their spring rolls are spot on how I make it at home, which is amazing. Their Pad Thai is on the lighter side, but definitely not lacking in flavor. And they don't play with spice! We loved their pad kra pow, pho, and pepper steak. The only average dish for me was the papaya salad.

I went back again after 4 months and I have to say it was still disappointing! The raw and cook laab are still too sour, salty and hot; even after asking for bitter and no pepper; hot pepper on the side. What's the point of asking for spice level, seems like it's already pre-made and not made to oder. For the price it could be better.

HUGE hit or miss with their food & service. Came here for the third time & we were seated right away (no complaints there). We took time to look at the menu & once we were ready to order, we were told that they don’t have sushi in the morning. IT WAS ALMOST 1 PM! I’ve had this issue each time I’ve ordered from here - stating they don’t have sushi but it’s on their menu with no indication of time sushi is available for ordering. EITHER ADJUST YOUR MENUS or state it when seating so people aren’t wasting their time browsing the menu. While waiting for our food, another diner mentioned to a waiter that the men’s bathroom sink isn’t working. The waiter’s response was a simple “oh, it’s not working?” THAT WAS IT and went on his way. That is UNSANITARY! And finally when we got out food (takoyaki, chicken wing laab, and raw laab), the raw laab was extremely salty. We were so happy we ordered sticky rice because it would’ve been sodium overload. Very likely I won’t be returning until they can improve.

If I could, I would give 0 out 5 stars. This is my first visit and they totally forgot about my table of 2 and went and serviced a table of 4 that came after me. 30 minutes of waiting and we weren't even served water. I don't think I'll try this place. I came at about 2pm on a Sunday

I'm not sure if it was an off night but we did not have a good experience here. We did get seated right away and chose our own table booth. The table looked clean but a closer look, it was dirty and sticky, but we still sat because there were others getting into their tables. It took about 2-3 minutes to get the menu. About another 5 minutes later, we had our order taken. Yes, 5 minutes. We have not gotten any water or utensils or napkins. After about 10 minutes, we got our food, but as the waiter left, we didn't get utensils. We could hear some fussing between a customer or worker. We politely waved to the employee to help and they did. We got our plates and utensils. We never got our water refilled as the workers were not around to ask them.

Food: It was underwhelming. We got the pad kra pao, steam rolls, and the fried pork belly laab. The Pad Kra Pao was okay. Ground pork drenched in a sauce that didn't spark the taste buds but just barely hit satisfaction when paired with the rice and egg. The steam rolls were okay but not balanced properly with a meat to steam rice roll ratio; there was a lot more of the rice roll. So much, I used the extra unfilled rice roll with the Fried Pork Belly Laab. The Fried Pork Belly Rice wasn't given too much effort.  If you've tried fried pork belly, you know how juicey the pork meat is when combined with the crunching fried pork skin...it was not this. It was given low effort and then drenched in pepper and laab seasoning. Overall, underwhelming and not satisfying, especially for the price. The price should reflect the quality of the food and quality was not there tonight.

Constantly waiting and needing to ask for basic amenities like a plate, utensils, water and napkins lowered our experience. Service should have been better; having water, plates and utensils being served almost immediately as this is normal for any restaurant. It felt as we were being missed and disregarded.

After our meal, we waited for another 5 minutes but we also noticed none of the workers were around. We went to the front desk and waited for another 3 minutes and paid. The employee did apologize but it was already too late.

Would we recommend this place? No. Food quality and customer service was disappointing. For the price you pay, you would expect much better food quality and customer experience. If you've had food from Hmong Village or Hmong Como Town, this food quality is equivalent to that.

I wasn't feeling well today and wanted some pho stock with vegetables to settle my stomach. Southeats was kind enough to accommodate my off the menu request. I was pleasantly surprised that the variety (and colorful) vegetables provided were FRESH and blanched in preparation for my meal. The beef broth was light and didn't include any artificial flavor enhancers or too much sodium. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the thought and care that went with my order. I will be a returning customer.
