This is a top-notch little bakery! We tried the cinnamon bun, cardamom bun, and a tomato-pesto stuffed brioche bun. All three were fluffy yet hearty and expertly crafted. Flavors were bold and delicious - cardamom was my favorite. I plan to stop in and try more of their treats every time I'm in the area.

Everything we ate was delicious. I’ll be dreaming of the sourdough s’mores cookies and cardamom knots for a long time. We came through in the afternoon, but I’m planning future breakfasts and lunches there already!

Wonderful chat with server. Great focaccia bread! Hard to find sour dough whole wheat bread! Great as dipping in olive oil and balsamic vinegar with a side of merlot.

Not only are these the best scones in town, possibly anywhere, but the cardamom buns are to die for. AND for a special birthday, Morgan the owner made a custom 8x8 cardamom yellow cake with roasted strawberry butter cream frosting. I’ve never had a cake like it. Everyone at the birthday was amazed. Go to Bread People for quality baked goods. You won’t regret it!

Ok, so I’m a Northfield native living in Brooklyn NY, surrounded by snobby/world-class bakeries, including Ovenly, home to one of the best PB cookies in the country. Bread People’s cookies, including the PB cookie, completely blow it out of the water. There’s so much delicacy in the flavor of everything they make - i hope this place becomes a Northfield institution!!
