In a major college town, and the stores closing at 6pm like we live in the sticks! They have always been open u til 8 . The excuse is no employees. Theres people who want jobs in town so thats just an excuse ! No wonder everyone’s been going to Faribault !

The lumberjack sandwich sauce is of another world. The sausage egg and cheese was delicious. The biscuit was perfect balance of dry and moist. My partner is particular about his coffee and he really liked the cold press. Perfectly sweetened.

Came here before church to get a coffee and it took 30 minutes to get the drinks. They stopped making coffee because some lady had left her phone and 15 minutes were spent looking for this phone and no drinks being made. Service is always bad here consistently. You would think this could change but hasn't in years!!!! Better off going to Starbucks up the street, thay care about their customers!!

Went in for a couple of drinks and there was one person in front of me and 15 mins later I left. Slowest service ever. The person making our drinks in the middle of making them decided to change the garbage instead of making our drinks. Not sure if I would ever go back here.

Paying extra for whip cream only to get old clumpy whip and barely any! Some staff appear annoyed! Will not visit this location! Faribault is better!

I normally would let it go, but this is my third bad experience in the last three weeks. Ordered and iced cold press and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Took about 5 minutes to get the cold press. Then there was now cream on the condiment bar. Asked the girl behind the counter for cream, to which she said, “Ok,” and went about her business. After 5 minutes of staring at her, I asked her coworker, who also said, “OK.” Waited another 2 minutes for a bottle of half and half.

I received my bagel 20 minutes after I ordered it. It was not cut in half, and not toasted. It felt like they microwaved it. Who serves a bagel unsliced? I know Northfield is not NYC, but get a clue.

Ordered a large, but used rewards to upsize it to XL cold brew. My daughter picked up the order so she didn’t know the details. Only got the large. Disappointed the upsize was missed and my rewards were used.

When in the mood for a good cup of coffee, I tend to seek out Caribou over other chains because of its Minnesota origins. Caribou was founded in Edina, MN in 1992, and although it is currently owned by a German conglomerate, I think it has retained its Minnesotan heritage well. Drink-wise there are roughly 40 vegan drinks, 3 non-dairy milks, and 4 syrups/flavorings to choose from. Food-wise there is 1 breakfast sandwich and 4 types of bagels.

I hurried into the store over 20 minutes after my drink was ready, resigned to the probability that my hot mocha would be lukewarm. To my surprise and delight, the barista offered to warm it up for me. That involved re-steaming it with the espresso machine, not just popping it into a microwave. It was a fabulous mocha and great customer experience.
