Quaint. Rustic. & charming!
Perfect spot for morning brekkie or brunch. I had the vegetarian quiche, which was very flavorful. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area. GLUTEN FREE SALAD DRESSING SOLD HERE

Such a nice place for food and tea. I regret not knowing this place earlier. I had tropical blend, beef pop pie, forgot what my husband had but they are all so good. A must try when you are in downtown

What a gem! My daughter and I had the loveliest lunch at this charming tearoom in Northfield. Both the fruit plate and the mini sandwiches were not only absolutely delicious but also beautifully crafted—true works of art. The owner, who was there during our visit, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It felt like being at a dear friend’s home, where we were treated like family. With the scenic bridge just steps away, this tearoom is a rare find you won’t want to miss!

Food was amazing! We had the peach French toast, popover and tomato soup (which is more like minestrone but wonderful!!). Staff were soooo nice! You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Prices are average. Small place with a couple small tables outside. View of people fishing at the river.

Two words: SUGAR. DUCKS.
I actually don’t use sugar in my tea or coffee, but these are SO ADORABLE. Just like the rest of the place. It’s cute and antiquey without being cluttered or musty. The coffee is great, the quiche was TO DIE FOR…even the fruit and yogurt plate is delicious (usually I don’t ever eat the fruit that comes with meals).
I came on a Friday morning around 9 and there was plenty of space to sit. I’m going to try to bring my mom for breakfast next week 😊

If you come, don't come for the food. They use kraft for their Mac and cheese, Campbell's soup. The prices are outrageously over charged for what you think you get. Although the quiche was okay was definitely not worth 14 dollars for a slice

I did a high tea service and i got gf and my friend got normal and it was fantastic. The tea was delicious. The gf food was amazing and so was the gluten. For soup we had tomato basil and it was the first time I've like tomato soup. It was plenty of food I even had leftovers.

My friend and I had tea this afternoon at Cottage Tearoom. It was so cute, cozy and warm. I felt like I was visiting my Grandma. Lovely atmosphere, and the tea was delicious. Service was great. Next time I'll plan on eating quiche.

I had a delicious piece of kiche in this charming cafe the other day. Now I am not even a huge kiche afficionado but this was some excellent kiche! Lovely atmosphere, great breakfast or lunch date place.
Place is cute and with outdoor seating near the river and just across from the farmers market. After reading reviews I have to say I did not have a good experience. The almond shortbread was dry and tasted like it had been in display case for 3-4 days. It was awful! When I spend $5 for a pastry, I would at least, expect it to be fresh. Despite that, I will try the place another time. It just could have been overlooked by staff.
