Cozy restaurant with lovely food and service. Wonderful smorgasbord shareable appetizer - perfect for 2-3 people. Loved the walleye fisk fry, but would have loved to also have the wild rice soup, the Swedish meatballs, or any of the yummy-sounding desserts! Located at the base of the gorgeous St. Olaf College campus!

The Ole Store is my favorite restaurant in Northfield! From the very cool historical location to the amazing service—it ticks all the boxes. We love the brunch (Bodega breakfast sandwich is a must!), but trivia Tuesdays and date night are amazing, as well! I feel like I am always welcome at the Ole Store!
My faves: soft pretzel, cheese curds, and of course, the Sven Burger with fries and Ole sauce!!

Delicious food, great atmosphere, nice employees, I'll be back! Wild rice soup was fabulous, and the goddess bowl? It was a healthy salad bowl - vegetarian! Absolutely Delicious! Definitely a hidden gem! The hostess got me a hot tea since I was freezing from walking in the rain! The flowers on the outside of this place are impressive! Ample parking and no wait!
