I love this bakery! I drive from Inver Grove Heights to Northfield for their items. Lots of people complain about service but I have never had a bad experience here.If you are kind and respectful they are kind and respectful to you.

Lady was very rude to my husband when he asked about the pies. He wanted to leave right away.I did not hear their conversation, so I bought a donut . Very worst donut I have had in my life. Was not dry or anything like that. Looked really good, but some taste in it was terrible. Had to spit it out & throw the whole thing away.Thank goodness we didn't purchase anything else from this bakery. Her rudeness ended up working out for us in the end. Went on to cake walk bakery, great selection & great customer service

It's a old style Bakery with doughnuts,bread and buns. They accept only cash. There is a dining area inside the restaurant and it's right next museum.

Absolutely horrible, horrible place! Never recommend ever going there!

I was just in there today to get an almond kringle, type pastry (which I have recently become obsessed with because they are INCREDIBLE!) and I felt it was a reasonable price and the guy behind the counter was very polite and helpful when I asked the prices of a few items. ?

I experience the staff and friendly and helpful. Terrific hot cross buns, fruit cake, great holiday breads.

Gosh the donuts taste like gasoline and the owner handle the food and money with out gloves , the owner was really rude , went I asking why he handle money and food on the same counter with out gloves that was unsanitary. Nasty nasty place don’t buy there.

The customer service here was absolutely nasty. They made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. What a great way to chase customers out of the store before trying any treats! Lost my business forever

I honestly do not understand how this business manages to keep its doors open. Decided to give them another shot after several years... long story short: nothing has changed — will not be returning.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. I’m new to northfield. My friend and I went in to get donuts and use the restroom after a long trip and the front desk lady made us thank her for using the restroom and continued to be rude. I’m never coming back here again.

She was nice and friendlier than she was the last times I was there but good staff this morning it was nice.

Awful service. I was there to get just a cup of coffee and a treat after a long day. Since the very beginning she makes sure you feel they are making you “a favor”. However, I didn’t notice the cash only post so I was taking my credit card out when all of the sudden she snatched away the cup of coffee from my hand and put it back to the coffee container (gross) and yelled that looks like I did not know hot to read English cause it clearly says cash only. I had cash tho, but at that point I just left the store swearing I’d never be back. It’s a pain, the treats look yummy.
