We can’t say enough good things about our venue and the owners, Tammy and Patrick! They were absolutely amazing so kind, helpful, and easy to work with every step of the way. The venue itself was beautiful, and the outdoor ceremony site completely sold us from the start. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous everything was and of course, the adorable animals, especially the chickens wandering around, were such a fun and unique touch! We truly loved having our wedding there and couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our day.
Can't say enough about how delicious their Pizza is! Fresh ingredients, wood fired and the chewiest crust imaginable. Nothing better than an early fall evening enjoying the grounds and views with family and friends.

The Positives The grounds are beautiful, situated on a hill with a view of farmland. We visited in late September and the fall colors were lovely. It’s clear that a lot of money was invested in the landscaping and design. The beer is good, and as someone who is picky, I could tell the tap lines were clean. The Neapolitan-style pizza was fresh and hot, with a chewy crust that wasn't overly burned. I also appreciated that the grounds and bathrooms were clean, and the presence of horses and chickens gave it a fun, petting zoo feel for kids. The Negatives This place has some significant downsides. At $28, a medium pizza is overpriced, and waiting to order in a long line full of flies and hornets wasn't pleasant. T The entrance is confusing, especially when driving from Northfield; a simple "Entrance" sign with an arrow would prevent drivers from slowing down and turning around on the high-speed highway, which is a safety issue. C'mon, this is common sense. Someone is going to get hurt, in my opinion. The self-service model is a major drawback. We had to park in the grass and walk a long way with our lawn chairs, only to find that there was actually seating available. For a $28 pizza, it's frustrating to have to bring your own plates, napkins, silverware, and even take your own trash and pizza box home. No trash can. The place either needs to offer more service or a better price, not high-priced with cheap service. The pizza: While the crust was fine and the olives were flavorful, the sausage tasted like common breakfast sausage, not the Italian fennel kind I prefer. It also needed more red sauce and garlic. It's a new-age style pizza that didn't wow me, especially for the price. They had a flavor with pumpkin. Some will love this, but I would love a traditional option. The "petting zoo" atmosphere, while good for kids, attracts a lot of flies and hornets. The Verdict This is a place for new-age, Neapolitan-style pizza, and it does that well. However, if you're a fan of classic pizza with a rich, tangy red sauce, flavorful Italian sausage, and a traditional dining experience, this isn't the place for you.
Delicious pizza, great views of the farm.

If it wasn't for the fact that it has 2 toilets for a few hundred people, this would objectively be the most perfect place to get and enjoy a quality pizza
Parking: It's a giant field on a farm....can't miss it

Dissatisfied. I don’t understand the hype? The pizza crust was burned and it looked like two different pizzas were put together? Perhaps there was left over pizza and that pizza was thrown together to make one pizza? We ordered 1/2 sausage and 1/2 pepperoni and they were so different. The sausage crust was very thin and small and the pepperoni was thick. It tasted funny and we ended up throwing 1/2 of it out. There is NOTHING to do. Very small area to walk in. Alot of bugs. They had a couple of horses to look at and smell. I would rather pick up a pizza at a Casey’s gas station and go sit in a park.
The pizza is fantastic. Very good ingredients. They make their own dough. Not greasy. You don't feel heavy when you are done eating it. I've had other wood fire pizza too, Red Barn pizza is significantly better. And that's just the food. It is a great place to hang out and eat it there. Especially on a beautiful day. I usually do takeout due to my time constraints. Definitely a must try!!
Vegetarian options: They tailor the pizza based on requests. Can easily ask for meat to be left off. And add other ingredients if you like
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free pizza available
Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoy the location a lot. They also sell limited 1 or 2 varieties of very good soft serve ice cream and soda. It is a great location for kids to run around and have fun.

We had a cousin reunion here at lunchtime. The pizza was delicious! We watched them make and bake them. We walked around the grounds and saw the wedding area, gardens, horses and chickens. People sat inside, outside on the patio and out on the grass. Everyone there had a good time.

Adorable farm with great pizza! There was a ton of space to put down a blanket/chairs and enjoy the evening. And the ice cream hit the spot since the sun was fierce on the day we went! Also love that you can bring in your own sides and NA drinks. Highly recommend visit!

I just came here last night with my family and we had such a great time! I went here in 2021 and it was even better the second time around. We made an online reservation ahead of time and it was pretty busy when we arrived. 30 minute wait time for the pizza but it was SO worth it!! Their crust is so good. Also – shoutout to the girl who took our order. We made customizations and special requests and there was no problem. Super cute horses and chickens on site. They have some picnic tables but most people bring their own blankets/chairs. This is my new favorite summer spot! Tip: bring cash or a check (there is an ATM on site) and your own drinks/utensils!

This place is great to check out. It's on a family farm, but there is a ton of space to find a spot and eat. Bring your own chairs or blankets. Also bring your own plates and utensils. The pizza tastes great! They have a number of options. All wood fired. They all come in 16" size. They do have some sodas but not many options, so bring your own if you want something else. They also have ice cream. Be sure to bring a trash bag, as they do not have trash cans.
