Came in with my wife and toddler. A couple people in line. Patio and indoor seating half full. When I greeted the batista with a good morning, how are you, they replied brisket very busy. The reply was so poor that the gentlemen behind me commented, bring busy is a good thing.

Ordered three drinks. Iced cold brew nitro, my wife ordered a hit coffee, and we ordered a Carmel steamer for our toddler and a cookie. Cookie was good, my drink was poor quality. My wife thought her coffee had bo flavor.

The big issue at the end of this all was steamer they made for the toddler was heated to a normal temp for an adult. He took one sip and burned his tounge, spitting out coffee on his dress clothes, 20 minutes before we had to be at a family funeral down the street.

We grew up in the area and are in town for 2 days from Texas. W
e stopped at hideaway for a coffee, because we liked coming here years ago. Things have changed I guess. Consumer beware.

We ordered two BLT sandwiches with chips and two cups of soup, chicken tortilla. We waited 30 min or more for it to come to our table. We were on a long road trip and just happened upon this place. The sandwich was mostly a huge bunch of lettuce, very scant bacon and maybe a quarter size dab of avocado. I took one bite of the soup and it was very bland. Didn’t have any pizzazz at all-and nothing on top like little tortilla crisps or cheese. Just plain. I didn’t eat mine, but my hubby ate his. We paid $48, so way overpriced.

I recently visited The HideAway Coffeehouse and Wine Bar and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The place was spotless and sanitary, which is always a big plus in my book.
I loved how organized the spacing was in this place! The coffee shop has plenty of room both in the front and back of the coffee shop. On both sides there's a small space to sit in the window area out looking the amazing smalltown buildings and admire it. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. And let's talk about the coffee, cookies, and the sandwiches they serve- they were delicious! The coffee tasted fresh and the cookies were abnormally big but oh so good. But in all honesty what really stood out to me was the sweet/friendly customer service that I was greeted with. It didn't seem fake. But truly genuine. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The prices were fair for the taste of the coffee and food I had received. Overall, I highly recommend The HideAway for a cozy and enjoyable coffeehouse experience.

Service is good to great depending on who is working. The entire shop is cozy and feels like it is made up of bits of eras past. Nice and bright, a lot of natural light during the day. Even when it is busy, everyone can hold conversations without overlapping groups. The coffee choices are varied but not overwhelming and the coffee itself is always good, brewed on the stronger side so I usually get a smaller cup or i don't finish a larger one. They also offer good light fare food like biscuits, sandwiches and soups. Seems to be a scratch kitchen as well. I highly recommend this little coffee shop.

My family and I were wanting dinner after just enjoying a movie at the theater. Being Christmas day, I thought there would be no chance of this anywhere near. We were surprised to find the Hideaway coffee house open. Even more surprising, they apparently do a free meal every Christmas! Even though it was close to their closing, they welcomed us in, all with smiles and cheerfulness! I enjoyed interacting with the staff and the food was delicious! And despite a constant 4 hour flow of people through there, the tables and bathrooms were all clean. This was our first visit but will absolutely NOT be our last! Props to the owners and all the staff who took time on Christmas to do this. Simply heartwarming.
