We had such a nice lunch here. Everyone enjoyed their food which was fresh and on the healthy side. I guess all healthy except for the grilled cheese, but that was definitely enjoyed. The staff were super friendly and nice to us. The atmosphere was casual with a positive vibe. Recommended!

The Hideaway is one of my favorite spots downtown Northfield. My favorite items are their turtle mochas and their grilled cheese sandwhich.

Oof this was a rough one today. Was told there would be a small wait for food- we were with 2 young kids but decided to take the chance. Took over an hour for our food. Kids Mac and cheese was definitely easy Mac from the microwave. The apples as the side of my kids’ meals was literally 2 thin slices of apple. Bacon on my husbands sandwich was microwaved, precooked, paper thin bacon. For 65$+ this was absolutely a waste of time and money.
my favorite place to be! i've been going here for 8 years. staff are so sweet, food and coffee is great, very cozy atmosphere

While this was a cute cafe the not was not very good. It was mostly thick “untoasted” bread, a small piece of lettuce…bacon but couldn’t find it and a smear of avacado. Very disappointed as not is my favorite sandwich but this was basically a “bread sandwich”. My friend ordered the same thing and she agreed with me 100% $14.00 for bread which I pick away to find the rest of the ingredients. I should have taken it back but we had to get going.
Maybe other foods are ok.

Tiny hole in the wall hipster place. Canned beer and wine available. A coffee shop with a lot of bakery goods to complement those. Service is ok but not over the top. No table service, well at least not in the front. Pretty cozy

The one guy that works here came up to
my table and yelled at one of my friends and then proceeded to order us to consolidate at our table (there was three of us at a table of 6) so other people can sit. He didn’t even ask he told us that we needed to move!!!! And no one came up and asked to sit otherwise we 100% would’ve moved over so other people can sit with us.

We went exploring and ended up in Northfield. We had a late lunch and hubby picked a chicken salad on a croissant. It had sliced cucumbers and yummy micro greens. I had a BLT with avocado on a rustic rice bread. Wish we could have had enough room for the dessert case! They also had a line of coffee, espresso and hot chocolate drinks. Hubby had a stripped reindeer which he recommended.

Waited over 20 minutes for 2 coffee drinks. Horrible and no one commutated or even apologized for the wait.
